Really enjoyed this first ep! Shen Qiao's voice is so soft and gentle. Loving Yan Wushi's deep voice too heh.

Watched 3 eps and i love it, I'll read the novel later.

I'm just glad that they seem to actually be following the novel's plot. Most donghua (3d animated) I've watched make the main character dumber or turn the story into slapstick, I'm glad they didn't here.

Well, that is to be expected but in comparison to Scumbag Systems adaption and Tian Bao Fuyao Lu's adaption, it's pretty darn good.

Scumbag System had very very minor changes almost to none

As someone who had read, a good 70 chapters of the novel I strongly disagree with you. They make Shen QingQiu an idiot during the first couple of episodes.

I read the whole novel and all extras, I dont think that he is so different than in the novel except that in novel we cant see his expressions, manners and etc

Then I will except defeat and assume you had a better translation than mine. Around chapter forty the one I was reading stopped being translated properly. You win.

Enjoyed the story. Eager to see how it unfolds. Not a big surprise since I really like the wuxia-style in general

A little confused at first. Thought there was a time skip when there wasn't. The "20 years" got me haha. But I got a better grasp on things eventually

So apparently this is BL? I guess I could see how this sets the stage for that down the line, but it wasn't obvious otherwise. I didn't realize it myself until I finished the episode and read through this forum. BL isn't an interest of mine, but for now I'm going to keep watching this for the story and see how things go

Looking very good so far. This was a fun episode. Our MC is very righteous and I am glad ML so far is not totally evil to kill a whole family.

it won't be a BL, China is against showing gay people in media. so don't worry about it. anything gay they will censored heavily

I've watched most the episodes now. I enjoy it. Maybe the source material is BL but the anime isn't

HII i just wanted to add to this.

AHH THEY CHANGED THE PLOT. I get why some scenes had to be changed tho. Its a little offputting sometimes bc IT KINDA LOOKS LIKE THE SIMS, but I can suffer the plot changes......Im really just staying for Yan Wushi bc HIS LITTLE FRICKING LAUGH HAAHHAHAHAHA

aaaaaa!
how are the models so flippin good, but the animation so abysmally bad!?

pants glitching through robes, dudes teleporting half an inch into a house, hair that can not fall down and just remains floating indefinitely, and gravity- eff gravity apparently (then again, a lot of these non-movie 3D animations seem to ignore gravity, a lot), dude just teleported a lantern out of his hand, i think it disappeared for half a second-...
like, please- get worse models since these feel too pretty to get this type of animation handed to them D:_!!
(from a concerned once-studied-some-3D-animation)

as for the episode itself-
...uh... i ...caught a pretty bad translation, i think,
i only laughed at the "here, have a stick" moment, i just hope tings get better as this moves along.

I like to comment Episodes as i Watch them.
