I'm trying to figure out when this is taking place. Does anyone know?
After looking at the teaser a couple of times, I got some points for if this takes place in the past or the future.

Reasons why it's in the past:
- It looks like Nanbu is only missing 1 eye when we know that he lost both at the end of season 1.

Reasons why it's in the future:
- Joe (or Nomad?) seems older because he had a beard and more scars.
- What if this season is the result of an alternate ending. Because if Joe lost: Nanbu wouldn't lose his 2nd eye and Joe would be conflicted about throwing fights to the point that he resorts to drugs.

I just rewatched the first season like a month ago, so I'm pretty excited for this to be released.
The drugs in the teaser really worried me though, because that and the other stuff it shows just give me the impression that he's just a broken older man ;;

I think it would be super cool if it was an alt ending, I'm not very sure about it though, because at least I thought the first show was mostly straight forward.

Even if helping people is easy,
asking for help is a hurdle of it's own.

Honestly Im more scared than anything else. S1 pulled a twist for me when it didn't end with joe's death like AnJ, and it seemed like it was planned as a closed story. The fact that it got a s2 means the writers will have to pull some shit in order to bring joe back to his junk dog status in the 7 year gap, which will basically invalidate the whole ending, not to mention its difficult to see joe living in this one considering how "broken" he seems.

This trailer got me pretty confused, because who would this Nomad be? Because he looks a lot like Joe, but older Joe, but we also have Nanbu with the other eye. It's pretty confusing that, but anyway I hope it's as good as season 1

I struggled through it all because I hoped he would change his pants as he wore them all throughout season one. >x<

As much as I feel happy that this amazing show’s getting a second season, the trailer doesn’t exactly give any new incentive to differentiate it from season 1. I’m hoping that they were trying to avoid giving away any major spoilers, but if this is just the exact same storyline as season 1 but with different fighters, I would be kinda disappointed. Looking forward to the soundtrack sooooooo much.
