A manga spin-off of the immensely popular light novel series Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei (The Irregular at Magic High School), Mahouka Koukou no Yuutousei (The Honor Student at Magic High School) follows the events of the original series as seen through the eyes of Miyuki Shiba, Tatsuya's sister. The life of an honor student comes with a lot of expectations...and unexpected hidden feelings?! (Source: Yen Press, edited)
Mori began drawing the spin-off manga in Dengeki Daioh in April 2012 and ended it on June 27. Kadokawa shipped the 11th and final volume on September 10. Yen Press licensed the manga in English in March 2015 and released the tenth volume last November. A sequel for the manga is currently under planning.
Tsutomu Satou began penning the original sci-fi action novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in 2008. Dengeki Bunko began printing the novel with illustrations by Kana Ishida (Shounen Maid, Wakaba*Girl) in July 2011. After a 12-year run, Kadokawa published the 32nd and final volume on September 10. The light novel has a cumulative 12 million copies of its volumes in print, with the combined circulation of the manga adaptations and spin-offs exceeding 20 million.
So we're going to get more insight of how much Miyuki loves his brother soooo much and how much she wants him to be inside of her? Awesome! Not like we don't get enough of those already in the main series right? It's not like I'm annoyed by that aspect of the show or anything. No, not at all! I'm definitely going to be looking forward to this spin-off.........
Well, I take what I get. It's going to go down as one of those "I didn't know I needed it" show for certain, lmao.
Seriously though, hopefully this will just be an appetizer to the Season 3.
I like the little wordplay in the titles by the way for the Romaji title, that is. Doesn't quite have the same wittiness about it in the translated title, I'm afraid.
The "Railgun Effect", are side stories focus on the girl co-protagonist or secondary female characters like danmachi did with oratoria, Hidan no Aria with "AA"
I guess the Japanese public demands these spin-off because there is not enough fanservice in the main series and not much time for the cover girl because the series is 90% monopolized by the male protagonist.
It doesn't matter if you like LoGH,Monster etc.If you are a jobless or college/school dropout living in your mom basement, you are still an unintelligent loser. Taste in anime does not make you a better person.
