I'm just a simple guy who watches simple things.
I rate my anime depending on how I feel about them. I guess I should explain the rating system, I usually rate things higher than more critical raters, its easier that way so I can solidify what's utter garbage and what is alright. I guess that is all.
I only probably will write reviews on anime that I find that are utter garbage (if I can make it through watching it), and it usually wont be a college essay.
If you have any suggestions send them my way.
if you get your feelings hurt, dont come crying to me

How do you feel about the Anime industry saying "forget normal anime, it's all rape now".

Jesus, Redo healer exists
My answer: The anime industry is quite tolerant when it comes to different content. There is always an ecchi that gains popularity, a shouen that marks children, but it also has its controversial themes, such as rape and the impact (positive or negative it causes). Kaifuku is a perfect example of anime that did not know how to do this well, because in addition to having exposed it in a very direct way (which was not necessary), placed scenes and contextualizations where the MC was abused. Scenes like this do not please me and are, in my opinion, deplorable. Now another story that makes it a little better is Goblin Slayer. The anime does not have the problem of Kaifuku and manages to adapt the characteristics of the goblins in a better way than that of the people of the Kaifuku universe. The scene that Goblin Slayer has is better directed and made, causing a surprise and an enhanced impact, while Kaifuku has had virtually no impact since it started. Since the beginning of the anime (and manga), the show has had scenes and abuses that can be used well, but simply exposed a number of scenes that do not move any public interest in the story and the event. This also gives the Keyaru's own power to be very convenient and practically divine. It is a composure that I did not imagine how it could be so bad. And Kaifuku succeeded, he made a rubbish of history, with empty characters and not at all charismatic. Whenever I see people on my server disagree commenting on the anime, coming from comments on twitter, I realize that the anime is a tired and tired consequence of fanciful elements (which gives the public a connection to the Isekais), grotesque (gore) or an attempt to be an adult anime) and mostly profitable (ecchi as a whole is like that). Now, when we get animes in which ecchi is done well (Ishuzoku Reviewers), the gore has an explored narrative function (Higurashi, Elfen Lied and Berserk) and knows how to use fantasy very well (Rezero), you can see very well what and how critic around Kaifuku.
Remember that shit Naofumi did to the village the spear hero fucked over?
