DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- Ooh, that ending sure got me hyped just like the Junpei arc in JJK, especially the last panel.. Can't wait to see what it looks like when Okkotsu and Rika go all out. Also, Okkotsu being such a supportive friend to Maki regarding the Zen'in thing.. seriously wholesome. |

| Nice to give further insight into Geto's character. I found him an interesting villain in the anime mostly because so little was shared about him, in terms of history and personality. Getting a little more of his personality, he's not necessarily as interesting as I was hoping for but he's not boring either. I rather liked how happy he was about Okkotsu's fellow classmates coming to rescue him. The set-up here is pretty good for the limited chapter one. Of course though, I'm saying that having only seen the first season, so I've already got some level of attachment to most characters going into this. I do think they did a good job of seeding Maki's "failure" throughout the previous chapters, I certainly picked up on those hints knowing her case but I imagine it'd be a nice "a-ha" moment for those who started here. |

| Suguru Geto declares war and has found Yuta. Bro took down the first years without breaking a sweat. It's hilarious to me that he calls non-sorcerers 'monkeys'. Pretty sure Miguel (the black dude with goggles) would be tweaking while hearing him say monkey 💀 The Zen'in family is absolutely shit. Maki is amazing even without cursed energy The panel of Yuta fully summoning Rika and finally snapping goes so hard. |
