| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- OH GOD, Jegal Taek's really going for it, slaying his former rivals like it's nothing. Men or women, his brat treatment is one and the same. Park Il-Pyo fighting to fix Seungyeon's leg as his GoHS wish, to save a life while he can. No wonder his hatred with Jegal Taek goes beyond just time. Daewi's fight against Il-Pyo's sister Seungah, it's not the easiest, but he's conquered it with much difficulty, and also finally having known about Nox from Park Mu-Jin himself with Jin and Mira, about their ambitious plans to ruin the GoHS tournament with their OP Charyeok that's out of this world. The fight between both Tiger Cubs, it's sure is interesting to the extreme with Jin's Original Renewal Takewondo vs. Il-Pyo's Taekyyon, while Park Mu-Jin and the other commissioners faces off with the other pillars of Nox, who are ready to rain their God down in full prophesy mode (the same sword of God that ended Jin Tae-Jin's life). Surprising that Jin imitates both Mira and Daewi's power? Don't quite think so in the logic mindset, but it's spectacular that he "learned" both of their powers in emergency cases. The will of the fighter, and one of The Six (Seo Han-Ryang) starting their charades to fend off against Nox, I was constantly holding my breath even at the music for great anticipation, and it doesn't disappoint (props to newcomer composer Arisa Okehazama for this effect). Nox is defeated (only slightly), and Il-Pyo acknowledges Jin's power to the fullest, but Shonen tactics abound. Park Il-Pyo's Charyeok is coming...and it's UNLIKE ANYTHING EVER SEEN. He's the Key??? |

| This episode was unfortunate. It had all the aspects of being a brilliant episode. The fact that everything has been so rushed really makes the potential epicness of this episode just slightly comedic. Honestly, this felt like a grand finale to a 50 episode series, but the fact that it was just episode 10 and we know pretty much nothing about anything just made the entire outside battle more of a "what?" than a "Wow!". The animation, the music, the atmosphere, they were all on point. But the way it was told in the narrative is just super baffling. "Who was this?" "What was that?" These aren't questions that one should be asking in an epic battle. It should be "Oh, this guy arrived. Awesome." "Wow, he used that technique. Smart!" In short, that outside battle could have been way better if it followed a more whole story. The fight between Jin and Park was pretty epic though and the twist at the end makes me want to keep watching, even though I still have no clue what is going on. |

| Thought Food Wars was over the top with it's showings, but holy hell. Still loved it however. It's honestly gone current Tekken levels. Or least Tekken and Mortal Kombat levels put together. Tekken in sense it started off as a simple fighting tourney. Then it's become so much more, so so so much more. |

| Mori Jin vs Ilpyo Park fight was pretty cool. Ilpyo awakened his borrowed power/Charyeok finally and looks like it's a sinister power. Also woa he's the key? They key to what thou? The key to One Piece maybe XD. |

| This was an amazing episodee!!!! I would think that the key would be jin mori since he is the protagonist. Not complaining yet though. It's a little refreshing that he isn't. Might make or break the show for me though. I know it's very generic for the protagonist to be the OP main character, but i mean...... it is what makes them the main character. GoH is really good at pacing their show and showing multiple things at once. Was jamming to the OST and those dudes making music. Kept rewinding lmao. Art style is fantastic. Baby anime characters give me life. AHH THEY AR SO CUTEEEE DID YOU GUYS NOT SEE THEM!?!?!? Yes. Yes. Yes. Can't wait for the next episodeeeeee |

| Epic episode despite not understanding everything that's happening. First half was alright. Second half had brilliant execution. Music is done right. Pacing needs to be a bit slower. Still was able to enjoy this episode. 5/5 |
| I liked the music when one of the Six struts his stuff during Jin and Ilpyo's fight but yeah, yeah God this, God there, and over there too! And a Key to awaken or start everything who's probably got his/her/it's own God or whatever the Key is blah, blah... ughhh. >_< |

| Mori's fight against Ilpyo was wild, I swear these fights get more and more insane with each episode. Just when you think Ilpyo is down and out, he gets back up and seems to have awakened his charyeok. As if this fight wasn't crazy enough already, let's see how it continues next week. Like others have said, the other part of the episode with the battle against Nox felt like it was just.....there. That's the unfortunate part about this show being one cour, I'm sure they cut out a lot of the stuff that would have made that part make more sense. Don't get me wrong, it was just as fun to watch as the rest of the episode but I also felt confused lol. But it was still cool and the music was great too. |

| Impressive battle sequence, as expected. But always lack of a good explanations toward each other. The transition still bad like previous episode. Even there were still a non-existence with their true motives. I don't know what, but honestly a big void during every sequences were too much to be handle for me. Well, to be fair, and completely ignore the back story of it. I shall consider myself that this shit just went into another level of plot progression on my point of view. Congratulations, GoHS. By the awakening of Illpyo Charyeok Key, i think Mori did not have a chance to win. The problem there were a fuckin Nox. They had people that could summon a fuckin gigas god? Now its interesting to see if the battling areas went far into reaching with that huge Charyeok. Thats it for me. |

Really awesome fights, and while Jin and Ilpyo was outstanding, the commisionners vs nux has been just amazing And the dance scene (great direction there MAPPA!) Awaiting to see how this series is going to close the season... |
| I posted a comment regarding the godly animation this episode had a while ago but I also feel the need to point out that most of the emotional punches this series is trying to bring aren't hitting for me, and I don't have any idea what's going on either because there haven't been any definitive explanations. I was hoping we'd get a logical explanation by the end of the cour but now I'm thinking this shit is probably gonna end on a cliffhanger lmao. Idk what to say the characters aren't really developed and the relations seem forced, they show a sad(ish) backstory for every new character every episode which feels off because I'd rather not have a tragic past shoved down my throat before I've become at least a little familiar with the character. Still, the action is top notch and there's a sense of everlasting buildup and hype that I must acknowledge. If only they can deliver a good climax to the season, or it'll be like the emptiness you feel when you just stop jerking off before ejaculating ahahah disgusting |

| Damn, MAPPA really killed it this episode - Animation and the Sound Department to the max! Awesome fight on both ends and the Cliffhanger has definitely got my attention too. Can't say I'm fully understanding things here though but hopefully they'll come together in the coming episodes eventually. |

| This show deserves a score of 8.0 and above Unfortunately, too many stupid and toxic people like to compare this anime with others, and fanboys who like to watch hentai. This anime is not very feasible for people who expect a good story, if you want a good story just watch drama but I think the story and executionof this show are very good. |

Now then, wtf is the Key exactly and how is it supposed to open whatever gate to allow whatever God to manifest and destroy the world? And it looks like its possible that Mori is going to lose? Hope not, but then there's still Mira to win the round even if he does lose... He'll definitely lose lmao no way they hype the Key so hard yet he ends up getting his ass kicked, plus that'll raise the stakes for Mira's match a lot as well, and I feel a lot of big shit is gonna happen during Mira's match behind the scenes or even near/in the stage, there's probably gonna be major chaos interrupting the final round. Let's see though, just speculating |

| This episode had a lot of potential, but sadly it was ruined. First of all, Nox just randomly shows up and summons the sword and the god in the middle of the fight. Jin vs Park had really nice animation and choreography, but the Nox thing really felt out of place. |

The King of Fighters and Street Fighter series started as normal tourneys. Then they turned into a giant mess. Mortal Kombat and Tekken from the start were unnormal tournaments. Maybe the premise for Tekken was simple but the people who joined by no means were normal. Also you are the first (I believe) to have mention Tekken in these discussion forums. Glad to see another Tekken fan! Doesn't Ilpyo's fighting style resemble Hwoarangs?  |
