I see some of light in this one, dunno why but it seems so interesting topic in my mind that this has to be a long run one. But well I have much of expectation now while we are in this desperate quarantine and seriously hungry for more

I actually like this manga a lot. The downside is that there aren't many translated chapters

I think Dra Dra Sharp is a monthly magazine, or it seems like one because the entries are so slow on some websites to check each chapter.

Don't expect an adaptation soon because is 12 pages a chapter, even Uzaki chan started some years ago and right now is getting an adaptation.

Edit:

After checking some websites in moonrunes it seems there's a finished webnovel and many side stories (57 in total). Can someone translate what the hell I've found? lmao

Wn is finished? Well, manga team are toast then XD

The premise are not good for the boys, knowing the girl that he always liked being his sister is not doing good for him.. nevertheless the girl seems to not keen for the fact that he is her ex, well that's why i'm interested in this though XD

The light novel is still ongoing. Volume 6 is released last month, with drama CD featuring Koga Aoi and Hanamori Yumiri playing the two main heroines.
Translation has just started volume 2 last time i checked.

It’s actually more difficult for the sister.

One of the recurring question is, does it have to be “lover”? Now that they are siblings, they can always be together.
They broke up with each other, and their own parents also are not together anymore. Yet, as siblings, they can be snarky at each other without worrying how their relationship status would be affected by it. So, is being lovers a necessity?

The same author got another web novel about online game, like SAO. The main couple is like publicly acknowledged by all the players, but they are holding back on putting a name to the relationship, although for a different reason than this one. It’s like putting a label to it would suddenly limit their relationship, and makes it shallow.
Even though they’re practically living in the same house in the game and had daughter for a while.

I mean, how else would his father got into second marriage with her mother ?

☝️ Ah, that will be an important plot point in later part explaining their character development.

if someone is afraid to define and commit a relationship then their outlook is shallow for the aforesaid connection rather it be otherwise.

Well, it's a teenage story.
They're having question and conflict, and looking for their answer.

IMO, it's also a theme in the story itself, questioning about the meaning of that status of relationship and what it brings to them.

For Mizuto and Yume, it's the line between being family and lovers, and with their history.
For Kawanami and Akatsuki, it's how the experience changed their relationship as childhood friends.
For Mizuto and Isana, it's about how different are friend and lover.

I'm a bit late to the party on this but having just read, I'm now catching up on the latest status.

Personally I'd be surprised if this ever got an anime adaptation becasue far too many can't reconcile with anything even remoely suggestive of incest (even thought this clearly isn't). The only significant anime I know that involved "family" would be Domestic Girlfriend and that only had 1 season.

That said, I'd be plenty satisfied if this got a full manga adaptation - that is of course on the assumption the author doesn't go for some car-crash "thought-provoking" ending that doesn't end up with the main couple ending up together.

Hey, at least you're her and it's a good thing~

I'm not mentioning this to be a anime series but never say it's impossible I guess. And no, this is only that closer to domekano but it's not quite it and not even dramatic to begin with but along the ride it might though.

And for your concern, they might've been a thing in the ln version as I can't confirm it because I never actually read light novels and I do think that it is not a big problem in itself. There might be contradictory factors but it might work otherwise. I can somehow picture it though but the road itself I'm sure it's a bumpy one ngl.

hmmm being a top 7 and 5 light novel in japan for 2 consecutive years, it most likely will get an anime adaption and it was ranked 10 in japan of lns that people want to be animated. plus the manga adaption currently only have adapted vol 1 yet in 19 chapters but it really left out so much inner dialogue which is the best part of the novel sadly.
imagine giving an opinion to a series you havent even tried yet...

Oh.. so I had no idea the LN was quite so popular and I mean naturally if it did get an adapatation that would be really great! However I'd still be quite surprised.. more on the basis the subject matter is less likely to appeal in today's markets (both domestic and internationally). Clearly I also hope I'm wrong! What would also be good though is if there were licensed translations so we could buy and show support! Although I am surprised this hasn't happened yet given it's as popular as you're saying.
