Is there anywhere else for this to go if we're going to follow the same duo again? The film wrapped things up rather nicely and I was okay with that sequel bait at the end left hanging. Maybe I'm just feeling superhero fatigue from recent years, but I rewatched this show just a couple months back and found it a lot of fun, so there may be hope yet. Part of me is hoping they'll be leaning into more of the neo-noir crime-thriller angles; those were rather memorable.

More importantly, though, I hope that this series is good and gets an equally solid English dub (preferably with the same cast) if it is.

Well, Ouroboros still needs to be taken down & I don't know how much we would actually see Kotetsu fighting alongside Barnaby since his powers are almost all gone. I'm sure by this series' end, Tiger will have completely lost his powers and Kaede will be far more active as a hero since she's not much younger than Dragon Kid. I'm looking forward to this upcoming season because I want whatever that is going on Kotetsu and Barnaby to be defined and resolved in some way whether it be romantic or platonic. Even if it's not how the producers of season one wanted which would be them actually living together and making the best of Kotetsu dwindling powers.

I didn't like the dubb of the first series. Not because of the voice actors but because the script was often very different than the Japanese script and Viz had been helping Sunrise with English grammar from the very beginning of development. Viz is one of English release studios I think are poor at their job.

After The Rising and Double Decker I feel the studio still has a grasp of the series and production values. I would really like a conclusion to Lunatic and Barnaby's parents. Hopefully we get more NEXT power users. I want more heroes from other cities or countries. Like Golden Ryan

ARE YOU JOKING? Uroboros (the bad guys that were guilty of almost every problem in S1) never got caught at all and the end is a fking cliffhanger... the movie wasn't a closure to that plot at all.

I'm not worried. I saw some episodes of Double Decker, that was... Fine, but not what I expected thus I did not enjoy it. It was well made, though.
