| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- From the title of the chapter I knew this would be good. AN IGNOBLE DEATH!! I never even heard the term “ignoble” before but paired with death it made for a striking title. Harada knew the wait couldn’t be on hatsu, it was too obvious. As if it were a sprout asking to be plucked, never to become a flower. The hand that Ten fought with blood sweat and tears for, the bravery he showed to bring it together on a great wait, none of that mattered. We have to applaud Harada. This dude is an iron wall. He hardly showed nervousness, it was simple business for him to crack Ten’s code and see his true plan. Poetically and seriously beautifully stated: “That hand that could have won, daisangen, without being allowed to draw once died an ignoble death leaving only a withering husk”. Harada had a good time with that smile on his face, “well...?” I do think he had a blast that hand. Interestingly, given the right circumstance, playing for a yakuman so obvious that it’s asking to be taken out is potentially an amazing play. |
| Wow, that's gotta be one crushing blow for Ten... I have to admit, Harada was kind of awesome here. He is very observant and smart, and it speaks of his great respect for Ten's abilities, that he managed to figure him out that well. |
