| I seriously enjoy the backstory given for Char, Sayla, and the entire OYW, but I'm really bothered by the placement. I was having a great time reading through this streamlined version of the classic story all the way through Jaburo, but I've suddenly been pulled out of that to read the entire Origin OVA series. Mind you, the pages are absolutely beautiful, and I do like all of the backstory that Yasuhiko-sensei came up with, but I feel like I'm trapped in this giant flashback and being kept away from the actual story I was following. Does this annoy anybody else? |

| Had I gone blind in this remake, the sudden halt would have caught me by surprise and I would have disliked the "sensation". But since I knew beforehand the structure of the series (the "two tomes dedicated to the new past" thing), I only found the placement weird (I wonder what justified it or if it naturally happened for Yasuhiko). I admit I checked several times how many pages were left before I would be "brought back to the story I was following". @St0rmblade I admit the transition, in that regard, was a nice move. My problem lies more in the overall cut. |

| Strange, I thought that the flashback was pretty fitting. It roughly began after the end of the second movie, as Sayla was going into a long sleep. Isn't that neat? |
