DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- You know it's going to be good when we switch the POV character in a gamble to the antagonist. Ten has become the antagonist from Akagi's point of view and he's absolutely crushed him, like whatever he discarded would play into Ten's hand. We even got a full page reaction of his resignation. Akagi's luck is gone... I actually thought Ten was cheating it left so quick. But Akagi isn't done yet... I like Murota's distinction between luck and intuition. |
Dang, seeing Akagi lose like that is quite weird after reading the other manga first haha. Also, is it only me or were there particularly badly drawn panels in this chapter? But maybe I just didn't notice before. Just look at the size of his chin, and then the size of his head compared to his body lol. Although the chin is actually more on-model when compared to the Akagi manga. |

If I am understanding, there is in fact a meme in the Fukumoto community about how "wide" his old art is. His earlier series tend to have insane shoulder spans and bodies compared to his characters often small heads. Its pretty great, hehehe. |
