It is not stated anywhere, but its a widely believed speculation that Satella has the power to reset time (i.e Return by death or something of that sort). We don't know the limitations of her power, but I believe that she can probably reset back by 19 years and kill baby Reinhard. Or probably reset back by 21 years and kill Reinhard's parents and prevent him from even being born. xD

Lol. Any further debate requires to know the limitations of Satella's power. Which is not yet known.

The theory simply uses the creator's own element of time travel, i.e. Satella can potentially travel in time to take care of Reinhard. It doesn't contradict what the creator said since the original statement was rather vague (which is where speculations grow from).

The author's statement just as valid as the theory, since Tappei hasn't said Satella can't time travel. He also hasn't said Reinhard can't be killed as a baby either. But, it is obvious that Reinhard as an adult will be capable of dealing with Satella, which the theory isn't challenging/contradicting.

Who told you it was THAT easy?

I think you are forgetting that Satella is over 400 years old. So she might be able to time travel 20 years, but she cannot time travel beyond 400 years (her own age) to be able to kill Reid, Dragon, etc (who are mostly older).

Her battle with Reid, Dragon and Sages took place when she was probably in her late-teens or maybe early 20s. So she cannot travel back before she was even born. Reid & Volcanica are clearly much more older than Satella.

Return by death is NOT time travel. It is clearly an authority that allows one to go back to a past version of themselves (Subaru goes back to a previous body of himself). Which clearly means Satella cannot go back before she was born.

Reid and Dragon are clearly much older than her. So she cannot travel back enough to be able to kill them.

Why are you taking it so personally? It is like you don't want anyone to theorize or have active interesting discussions on Satella and Reinhard. The author's Q/A are very vague and leave room for a lot of speculation and theory crafting as stated by @KreatorX above.
