----------------------------------------
The first scene with Hongou and Yamagishi showed a few things. First we saw a real cute, blushing Yamagishi as he wanted to bring Tomita-sensei some mushrooms. He most definitely likes her… Then we had Hongou meet him outside and proposition him to double piledrive her in his room and Yamagishi went in for a kiss to show her how out of her league she is. It was playful though, it wasn’t so jaded. He was blushing and smiling, not outright mocking her, and he gave her some good advice as to not force herself and rush right to the end. From here both got filled with certain feelings. Yamagishi silently planned to do something for her it seems. And Hongou had some poetic words reminiscing on her misery, falling to her knees and with unique text boxes I got the vibe it may be stuff she wrote in her novel…

From here we got a really charming contrast between Momoko and Sonezaki. Momoko got some unwanted texts from the persistent Sugimoto and I thought it was done quite well. To show the notifications and her less than thrilled reactions, it makes me want to note how I think this series does texts and chat rooms well! Anyways, I feel Momoko was happy that a boy looked up to her in grade school, she said so herself, and she went out with him in a way as to test the waters and see what this is all about. One could also chop it up to her wanting to help Kazusa with first hand experience. It obviously ended with her not liking him that much, she didn’t even tell him she was going on this trip. Meanwhile, Sonezaki in the other room has told Amagi where she is and she’s adorably smiling over his supportive words. Obviously one feels more like love than the other, and this is when the two scenes merge. Momoko walks in and Sonezaki, still afraid to be open about it holds her tongue as they discuss boys and love. Momoko says she likes girls better than boys and Sonezaki chops this up to her not knowing love yet with some cute little joke about her pores being open like a boy. Taking a step back, Momoko was just thinking about how beautiful Sugawara was in the bath and with how much attention is given to Momoko complimenting and thinking about Sugawara’s beauty compared to everyone else, I think it may just be that Momomoko doesn’t like boys and rather likes girls. So, going back to the present anywho, Sonezaki reminisces on how she used to smugly think love and romance were stupid but what people say is true, love puts you in an entirely different world. They share pocky and to illustrate how different Sonezaki is now she expects both to share different opinions on it and yet, they feel the same perhaps denoting that as different as Sonezaki feels, they aren’t that different after all…

We had Sugawara show her caring self come through her rival facade as she took care of Kazusa after she collapsed. Sugawara reflects on just how natural it feels to want to support her friends and Kazusa reflects on how she feels insecure. Instead of thinking similar things about her feelings on Sugawara she still thinks of her as a rival of sorts, wondering how she feels about her boobs until she started to cry and finally brought up the issue to Sugawara. I think Sugawara wanted to extract Kazusa’s feelings to deal with them, but perhaps it was largely that anger she felt when Momoko first brought up the misunderstanding, that going with her feelings on caring for Kazusa just moments ago makes sense. Was Kazusa going to possibly resign?

The chapter ended with Sonezaki charging in to solve the issue, not with words, but with pillows. She does feel like a team captain looking out for her girls. Go Sonezaki!! It was a sweet ending because Hongou and Kazusa and Sugawara all had a somewhat hard time this chapter, but it ended with Kazusa sitting on the enjoyment she shared with everyone, the joy she saw on Sugawara and everyone’s face, and suggested that there is peace in the fact that these different boobs can jiggle together. Maybe seeing Sugawara again as more of a friend than as competition.
