Main English Dub Cast of 'Kimetsu no Yaiba' Announced

The official website for Aniplex of America's Kimetsu no Yaiba revealed the English dub for the main characters on Wednesday. Steve Staley is directing the dub.

Kimetsu no Yaiba is based on Koyoharu Gotouge's manga of the same name. The anime adaptation by ufotable aired in Spring 2019 and was simulcast by Crunchyroll. Viz publishes the manga in English and released the eighth volume on September 3.

An anime film that will cover the Demon Train arc is in production.

Never been a fan of dubs, but I was gonna give this a chance even after hearing Tanjiro's voice because Giyu's voice is great. But man... I'll only watch the end episodes.

So I commented on Youtube about my thoughts on the dub:
However, it looks like the dub itself will be okay. Here are my thoughts:
Tanjiro - looks fine. I can also agree that he does sound a bit deeper than what Natsuki Hanae did.
Nezuko - also looks fine. TBH it doesn't really matter who voices her since she doesn't talk that much anyways.
Urokodaki - too young. I felt that they should've had a veteran dub VA voice him.
Zenitsu - an interesting choice having a newcomer for him. Although, I'm a bit worried when he goes crazy. Also everyone can agree that no one can top Hiro Shimono.
Inosuke - okay, I know everyone is hating on Bryce's performance. But tbh, its not that bad. I can't think of any other dub VA who has a growly voice for the piggy boi other than him. Who knows, it might be better than expected.
Giyuu - nothing to say other than the one reason why I'm definitely gonna watch the dub.

As a dub watcher myself, I have to say that so far the dub cast is alright. Not perfect, but not too bad either.
Believe it or not, I actually expected that Bryce was gonna be a good fit for Inosuke (I dunno, because of Kirito I guess). I'm sure he's gonna be okay for the role. It's just that it was a bit too high pitched and that they made a wrong first impression. I dunno. Will wait and see how he actually goes.
The one choice I am actually most disappointed about is Urokodaki. I felt that they should've cast a veteran actor who is older rather than having a younger, unknown actor voice him.
I was also expecting a veteran VA for Zenitsu as well. But from just looking at the trailer, I find his performance alright for now (the real judgement starts when he goes whiny and shit). Although, I'm a bit divided since he is voiced by one of my favorite seiyuus and no one can top his performance whatsoever.
Considering that the dub is directed by the same guy who did The Promised Neverland dub, it is no surprise that the dub will have a lot of newcomers.
The one thing that I'm more excited about right now is to wait and see who'll voice Micheal Jackson, Shinobu and the others (hopefully they're mostly veterans).

Giyu being voiced by JYB is perfect casting. A bit mixed on everyone else, especially Inosuke having the same voice as Naegi and Shirou.
