A preview for the December issue of Shueisha's Jump SQ, which will be released on November 2, has revealed that NisiOisiN and Akira Akatsuki will pen a new one-shot chapter to commemorate the magazine's 12th anniversary—titled Tabitabi Demonstration (pictured left).

The duo's Medaka Box began serializing in Weekly Shounen Jump in May 2009 and it finished in April 2013 with 22 compiled volumes. Gainax animated the manga in split cours that aired in Spring 2012 and Fall 2012.

Their most recent project was the three-volume manga series Shounen Shoujo that launched in January 2016. It was serialized in Jump SQ for over a year and finished in April 2017.

NisiOisiN recently worked on the one-shot Fukumen Tantei Masuku do Hoomusu to Kisu Dorobou with the creators of Shokugeki no SoumaYuuto Tsukuda and Shun Saeki. It was part of Weekly Shounen Jump's "Jump Rom-Com Festival" that consisted of other one-shots from various authors. It debuted in the 42nd issue on September 14.

Best duo. I'd read anything they wrote.

Hoping this will lead them into starting a new project. Medaka Box was one of the first manga series I read back in high school.
