not sure i you're still interested, but apparently its a full adaptation

I just finished the anime and read the last 10 or so chapters, there's quite a bit of material missing in the anime. For example Kaoru meeting up with his mother discussing his decision of school and her noting that his friend is not with him this time. There's also a few chapters with Sentarou as a priest (before Kaoru visits).

If you want to pick up the manga after watching the anime it's best to pick it up at around chapter 40/41.
