Nice, it was explained both how he can do the things he does and why the girl is invisible and alive at the same time. Relatively moronic explanations, but explanations nonetheless. Things are beginning to pay off, hopefully something half-decent will come out of it.

Beauty and justice being tied together. True beauty as non-existent, either a beautiful outside with a disfigured heart like Susan Ross, or a beautiful heart which will crumble to self interest like Ami's mother. The world as self interested and "justice" as an excuse to pursue that...

Nothing is beautiful if it creates conflict? Interesting. I wonder if true beauty can possibly exist if conflict is unavoidable as it seems to be. Even if our personal justice is selfless, we must still cross the path of others and defy laws to pursue it. Theivery, jailbreak, lying to protect one's daughter. I can't blame Alabaster for having this worldview when he was racially discriminated against by Susan Ross and a court of law, and later turned into a monster, even if he wasn't blameless himself. There aren't easy answers, although, helping the struggling like Gen and Ami were trying to do seems like the closest thing to beauty all things considered.
