| This new development is fairly annoying. I think the mangaka brought these two characters together (they hooked up in a span of 5 chapters or so) and then realized that his female lead has no redeeming points whatsoever in the romance department to justify the MC shifting back to her. This seems like their attempt to end this relationship quickly and return to the main plot. I would appreciate this, because the manga has become a bit stale of late, but as I said, the female lead is really not that good a character. She is far less bold and honest than Hayami is. I'm honestly not rooting for her. So this entire arc has just about as much grace as a fish flopping on dry land. |
