| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- More storytelling about Shoji and Angelica. What a talented doctor though. Masaru should be very proud of his father especially with his medical skills. In the meantime, we have a baby born! Thanks to Shoji and everyone's efforts, they were able to deliver the child. |

| So Shoji and Angelica only child is Eleonore. Not a bad episode. We got to see some of Guy's past aswell. |

| Damn, this was an incredible episode! So Eleonore is, in fact, Shoji and Angelina’s daughter, I figured she’d be related to the Saigas in some way but I certainly didn’t expect it to be in this fashion. Amamzing and powerful final few moments of the episode too and the soundtrack just livened things up a notch more making it all the more impactful for me personally. Lol, I didn’t expect the Francine Doll to hold Eleonore like that so savagely and just spank it’s butt but it saved the baby so I suppose it was for the best cause. I’m really curious to see more things from her side though, looks like we’re still just halfway dealing with the mysteries of these backstories. Moreover, getting back to the first matter at hand, this explains why Eleonore looks like a splitting image of both Angelina and Francine. Cool revelations all round, being in the dark for so long really paid off well! Great stuff! More interesting backstory for Guy this episode though. Abondoned by his parents for having the ZONAPHA Syndrome must’ve sucked but good thing Angelina accepted him with wide arms. Guy’s backstory, as a whole, was short and quick but it got the point across so no biggies. Cool fighting choreography between Angelina and Guy too! When Angelina told Guy to stay back outside, I was sure she was going to sprint away to Shoji’s company. But it was nice to see her step up and protect the child moreso during the fight, some great motherly love for sure! And then the adoption, so oddly enough Guy and Eleonore are actually step-siblings. Totally didn’t see this coming. On the other hand, the meeting of the Francine Doll and Shoji was pretty lit! Amazing how effortlessly the Francine Doll managed to hold back Shoji’s sword there, the hat flying off gave me the impression that the current state of Shoji would’ve something to do with the fight but good to know it’s not. Is it because of Sadayoshi then? Curious to know more about this peculiar fella, his introduction during the first few moments of the episode gave me the impression that he’s clever and is therefore going to be a tough nut to crack. Still a lot of Questions clouding my mind but I’m looking forward to seeing how things from here onwards, please slow down on the freakin’ pacing though or things will surely get underwhelming just like that mid-arc featuring the battle with the Midnight Circus which I hope will not turn out to be the case! Edit: Just remembered that there were a few weird and lazy shots every now and then, particularly more so in this episode compared the the previous 17 episodes imo. Hopefully, this won’t stick around for next week’s episodes and the remaining episodes to come too. |

| Ok, if Shoji was born in the late 19th century then how come he is still alive when Masaru was a kid, in fact if he was borne in the 1890's he would have been in his 100's since we see him as an old man in what can be look like in the 1920 based on the kind of fashion that the characters wore , and if sadyoshi is masaru , how did he become a kid when we see him being a grown man in the 1920 or 1910????/ |
| I swear this series is paying dearly for the pacing now. Sure things are being connected together but it still feels like it's busting apart at the seams. |

| The story is really great and this was a decently emotional episode, but it doesn't feel as impactful as it should be. |

| I can't believe how the story telling in this series is crashing and burning so badly. Over 17 episodes it has gone from entertaining to tolerable to irritating to cliched to clumsy and now to being incredibly inept. This is Death by Flashback and Asspull. Do I give it one last episode or do I bail out now and write it off as a bad decision to have watched it for so long? |

| Done with these flashbacks and billion alternate versions of the same characters, I really liked this show but its so draining. Dropped |

| The animation quality in this show improved significantly with this episode. This is the kind quality I wanted to see in the other episodes, dammit! Whoever directed this episode knew what they were doing. |

| I now understand Guy's fixation with his mother Wait so Eleanore is the real heir to Saiga estate, which probably means that she has been going long under training And Francine was related to Lucille, everything slowly comes together and I must say it is pretty amazing |
