It was mediocre in the first two episodes but really picked up from 3rd episode and after (personally, I also enjoyed episode 2). |
| well for me this anime was leaving a huge anger towards it and i decided to stick with Kouya no Kotobuki bcoz it had better air combat scenes than in this show and also camouflaged planes in which the coloring of the planes in GAF are more nauseating to look at :| |

| Personally,i've enjoyed it so far,same as I enjoyed Arpeggio of Blue Steel. And I like the colour schemes for the 3 jets,and esp like the Op and Ed tracks.Seem to me to fit the show and the girls personalities. Btw,airfoilfan87,your sig?-Anything to that?-just wondering :) |

| I doubt it has that large a viewership to gain a hatedom in the first place. I haven't seen hatred against it anywhere. People who don't like it already dropped it by episode 1 and don't bother with it. If you are talking about the low scores then personally I think it deserved that score. If I am being really objective and nitpicky it would be a 5/10, maybe even a 4/10 from me. Animation is sub par especially the CGI Music sound super generic and sometimes (especially during dog fight scenes) sounds like lifted from public domain And writing and characters aren't anything exceptional. Feels like more upbeat version of darling in the franxx. Only thing I think it has done anything refreshing is making a sympathetic ugly fat guy like Gripen's and Eagle's father. Pretty forgettable average show otherwise IMO. |
