Hello, I dont know if this is the right forum to post something like this but I wanted to ask you guys if its okay to watch The Last: Naruto the Movie when I didnt even complete Naruto Shippuden.

I looked at the airing date of this movie and it says 6th December 2014. I am on 410th episode of Naruto Shippuden which is 30th April 2015.

I am asking because all of the characters are 2 years older than I am in Shippuden now.

Maybe its a stupid question because if there are spoilers then it would not come out in 2014 I guess but I think its still better to ask.

Thanks!

Mod Edit: Modified title for clarity and/or easier searching.

It is best to wait until you are finished the series imo.

I was actually watching a Naruto AMV on the side while I came across this post haha.

The most correct episode to watch that movie after would be after episodes 389, and 390, both of which aired on December 4, 2014 - and they were sort of special for that movie.

You need to be aware that that movie was made in a way that producers had first and foremost manga in mind, which is usually ahead of anime, and thought it wouldn't be a spoiler.

I don't know, I personally always watch stuff in order of airing, so when some long running series has some movies, or specials, I watch them between the episodes that aired at the time, of their release, but maybe that isn't the best option for you...

I mean like its weird because that 410th episode I am in now is 2015 and there is still war and in the movie description it says: "It has been two years since the Fourth Shinobi World War" and its 2014 so I was wondering if there are no spoilers from the war or something.

yes, there are spoilers from the war. but the studio didn’t care about that because all the fans in japan read the manga anyway

i dropped shippuuden at ep 431, but I finished the manga, so that’s all I can tell you

I'd recommend watching it after Shippuden as well since it does spoil the couple that end up getting together, and a couple more stuffs like new powers and mention of previous villains (that appeared near the end of Shippuden)
