| HI! I'm Malware, or PlatinumTentacle as you may see from time to time. I was a reviewer at a website long ago that is now dead forever, then did some solo reviews for a while but that was boring so I just watched anime alone for many years. Due to my new job being super slow and boring, I now have time to do things, so I figured I'd try to revive the idea of the original club I was in so many years ago. That's it! ... I mean, there was way more planning involved, but you get the idea. The genres I like most are comedy and spooky stuff because I like laughing at things and shitting my pants. My review style is actually really casual, even though I've been told that my reviews seem critical. I think it's because I use fantastic adjectives. I haven't been in to anything in particular lately. I watched High Score Girl recently which blew my mind how good it was. Partly do to the fact that I watched it on a whim and didn't even expect to finish it. I thought it would just be some cheesy low budget anime about video games, and it kind of was, but it executed everything so incredibly well. The only thing I hope to achieve by joining Rewind, is watching anime and having a jolly old time. World domination would also be an acceptable outcome. |

| Hey guys! I'm Tomm01p, but I hope nobody will ever call me that because it's literally just a login username I use because all my other names are always already taken. Anyway, you can just call me Tommy. I got into reviewing about a year ago and I was trying really hard to somehow make a name for myself on MAL. Things happened, my plan brought little-to-no success and so this Summer I just abandoned the idea because I figured I can spend my time on something more worthwhile than writing something which will get over-shadowed by some 300-word long mess. Gotta love MAL. I'm at my third year in High School and I play a lot of softball in my free time. Besides anime, I also love to talk about basketball, cycling, esports (particularly CS), games and some other random stuff like making AMVs. Also a fan of Visual Novels. I was never really a one genre sort of guy. That said, I've been a bit more into comedies lately. Mainly because I'm just kinda tired of anime-like drama. I like to write my reviews literal and straight to the point. I think that reviews should be, more than anything, analytical and informative. I don't really like the sort of "artistic" reviews, which's authors care more about showcasing their writing ability rather than expressing their actual opinion. So expect my reviews to be really down-to-earth, almost more like rants than actual reviews. I just like to sit down and write what pops up in my mind rather than think about how to properly start, properly end for hours. Also, for whatever reason, I like to write negative reviews more than positive. No idea why actually, I guess it just fits my style of 'ranting' a bit more. But I wouldn't describe myself as overly critical. I always try to consider both sides of the coin and come up with some positive things to say about stuff, even if I think it doesn't have any. And I value entertainment factor a lot. Outside of seasonals, I've been super eager to finally watch the second season of K-on!! (nearly two years after the first one). I've been using K-on! scenes as a base to my new video project I'm working on and it reminded me just how much I loved everything about the series. However, it's Christmas, so our house is full of people and I don't really have the time to actually watch it. But once this madness is done, I'm going into it full speed. Mio best girl btw. Idk, just have a bit of fun and be a part of a community of some sorts. It's kinda hard nowadays to get into an existing clubs, communities where everybody knows each other already. This is a start from scratch. Also, I know I said in my other post that I'm not sure about the streams, but if it did happen and we would get actual people to come and watch us rant, that would be awesome (also we could just make a podcast out of it after the stream and upload it somewhere). I'm happy to be joining this project. Great idea @Malware I wish you all Happy Holidays >3 |

| Hi, I'm Sunstorm. My favourite genres are probably shonen, comedy and slice of life. I'm a casual reviewer as I haven't done a lot of anime reviews before. I used to review books though. Lately I've mostly watched seasonals and I've been rewatching Hunter x Hunter. I'm mostly just hoping to get some new people to talk to. |

Between critical and casual, I believe myself to be more towards the casual end of the spectrum. While I'm perfectly capable of explaining what drew me towards a particular show and what I found to be most and least enjoyable, I'm not the type of person to specifically search for symbolism in order to analyze a show to the point there's nothing left to talk about. The past few months I've been working quite hard on the yearly anime challenge. But if I had to mention a couple highlights from the last three months:
Considering my whereabouts (I was born and raised overseas) I'd like to use this opportunity to improve my English language skills and perhaps meet one or a few like-minded individuals with similar interests. I'd like to a fun time just reviewing anime and having a group of people to chill with. As previous users mentioned: it's quite the challenge to fight for your spot amongst tight knit groups of individuals who've known each other half their childhood. Childhood is strong stuff. Thanks for havin' me~ |

| Hey guys, don't know if you realized it but this club has a Discord server now as well. If you'd like to stay just on this MAL site than that's okay too but the discussions will be much more frequent on dis. @AddALittleSugar @Ranacchi @Love-Shonen @Hajime_Hinata Edit: Btw we had a discussion with Malware and he said this project should start full speed sometime in January. Until then there will be some polls and voting but the real deal is a still a bit away. ;) |

| Hi everyone, I'm Thizlas. I've been using MAL for about a year and a half but I never really used the club feature before, so I'm rather new to this. I'm a third year university student in French litterature. I haven't written that many reviews yet, but I always fail when I try to write something poetic or humorous, even in French, so I'll limit myself to serious reviews. They can be detailed if the show made me think about a lot of different things, but they will probably be quite concise most of the time. I think I'm between critical and casual, as I express myself in a rather critical manner, but the points I make are closely linked to my personal preferences and imagination, which are usually pretty specific and different from the usual concensuses. I don't really have a genre I love or hate, I generally like anime that suceed in distinguishing themselves from the mass without forgetting about the basics (that's a pretty vague description XD). Recently, I enjoyed Patlabor 2 the Movie and some parts of Asobi Asobase. I didn't have any favourite characters, but I rather liked Gotou Kiichi and Nagumo Shinobu. By joinning Rewind, I hope I will get to know other anime/manga fans on a level a bit deeper than that of the basic contacts I usually have on MAL, and have some fun conversations. Like Ranacchi, I would be happy if I could improve my English and make connections. I agree with Tommy's, and AddALittleSugar's observations about clubs. I'm happy to join this club and I hope we'll all have a good time together, happy festive season ! |

| Hallo u all :3 The name is Emilio and i just join ur 'club', i'm a 23 years old male person who happens to love anime. I don't really have a genre i prefer, I do however like to watch some more controversial anime for time to time, because It makes me think about those matters. But overal I'm pretty much open for everything and every suggestion ;) In term of review I'm pretty chill, I do however judge a show on the whole package. So everything is see regarding a anime get the same grade. (I don't really take ova and such into account with my review, I just give them the same grade) The most recent anime I've seen was Clannad (after story) and it has instantly become my favorite anime of all time. Favorite characters are probably a.t.m. Aisaka Taiga, Furukawa Nagisa and Okazaki Tomoya. But my favorites are also on my profile to see I joint this club because I don't have friend around me that like anime unfortunately. So I've decided to finally become more active on MAL instead of just using it as a dairy for my anime's. On the introduction forum I was invented to join so here I am looking forward to talking to u guys and girls. Thanks for letting me join |

I'm your typical anime lover but I don't just move on after watching a great anime, I would do my best in making a review that I think can reflect the message the anime tried to bring and the beauty of it. In some cases, I also make AMVs to show others how beautiful and worth-watching the anime is to make a closure to it. My goal would be to inspire others to watch anime and actually come to like it in their way. And I think I can learn more about this by joining the club. | Hey everyone, I'm Thaleko, I started anime in mid 2017 when I cried on the first episode of SnK (lol) and since then I didn't stop watching anime and I love it. I also love playing video games, mainly playing Hearthstone, League of Legends and osu!. I would say my favourite genres are romance, school and drama. I got into this club thanks to Tommy who said I was a cool dude and people here are also cool so why not join this club ahah, thank you Tommy by the way. So yeah, I warned Tommy about the fact that I don't plan to write constructive reviews about series we watch, I just don't feel comfortable about it, however i'd be super happy to just share my thoughts on episodes and talk about whatever gets on your mind. Recently, I've been rewatching Hibike! Euphonium for the third time in like 8 months, I really really love this series everything is so good about it. And while waiting for Spring season to begin I also started ReLIFE which is pretty decent so far. First time I'm joining a club on MAL, hope I can use this opportunity to speak and have fun with new people :D, only talk to a bunch of friends and some people on MAL about anime and I always like talking about it with people, also improving my english is always nice. |
| @Thaleko Welcome aboard! I don't know how familiar are you with using Discord. Either way, I'd very much recommend you to join us there. We were trying to balance out existing on both MAL and Discord but over time we basically abandoned MAL altogether. It basically only works as a formality at this point.
