I think it's kinda interesting the show continues to focus on its main cast to make them all relevant. This week, we got storytelling about Yuki and her mentor.

Yuki has also been a mysterious character so I think it's kinda refreshing to know more about her. The type of character she was back then doesn't surprise me of how she became in the present.

Interesting episode that did well in showing not just Yuki's past but also in paring that with the modern day plot too. The visit to the market sure was nice and did well in lessening the tension that formed between Momo and Yuki after Okinawa while also allowing them to deepen their bonds. The insight into Yuki's past and how she met her mentor was insightful. It was nice seeing what she was like when she was a fresh recruit as well as what it was like in the city back then. The op to stop Moryo's past plan was pretty impressive even faced with unexpected events. Though they managed to foil their plans the raid sure had a tragic ending. Looks like things are starting to get to their climax with both groups closing in on each other.

Loved the backstory, it was about time. Now everyone feels pretty fleshed out from the main cast.

Yuuki decides to spend a quiet day with Momo after what happened in the mission of Okinawa. Momo was so happy to spend a day with Yuuki, the visit to the restaurant was my favorite, Momo blushing is very fun.
At the end of the day Yuuki tells Momo about her past and her master, Nagaho who was very skilled and strong spy, besides being very relaxed. Seeing Yuuki as an apprentice was very fun, in fact she was more fun and less strict.
But unfortunately the girls on their mission to destroy Moryo's base are attacked by Tendo, who is now one of Moryo's bosses. Tendo fights against Nagaho and Yuuki, but she turns out to be stronger even when both use Spyce, finally Yuuki is wounded in her eye and Nagaho is seriously wounded, her master decides to sacrifice herself to save her apprentice and her partners while the base is destroyed.
Momo now understands why Yuuki takes care of her so much and she decides to be of help in her new mission and in the following ones.
At the end of the episode thanks to the help of Momo, they discover that the person guilty of spreading the drug was the same person who killed Nagaho and is involved in the laboratories they investigated.
The preview of the next episode gave me a very bad feeling, I hope that nothing happens to Yuuki, since the one that screams desperate for her master is Momo.

Now I understand why seeing Momo fight the old man on the previous episode made Yuki so angry. It's because her sempai died that way.

If they're going to fight that lady with oni mask next.. Yuki is in danger.. her spyce does not last long anymore.

Death flags. It's depressing and we haven't even figured out the traitor yet.

We're in for a wild ride from here on. Predicting a bittersweet ending.

Finally the development of Yuki, so that's how she got her scar. Tendo is really a badass villain, I really like her even if she is baddie. Her mentor was a really fun character and a great mentor at that. I hope they won't do those she back in the end typo ish.

Nevertheless I enjoyed this episode very much since it had Yuki at its main point.

Great episode,

Dammnit Yuki, you were supposed to have "fun", not depress her with your backstory

lol, I kid. Momo was instead inspired by it :D

More development on Yuki. I now understand why Yuki is so strict towards Momo. That backstory of Yuki where she lost her right eye and her mentor was quite sad.

so apparently Moryo's Boss is not Yuki's mentor, they are different person. Even the story about Yuki's mentor is more deep than i expected.

Now we know about Katrina Tobey as Aoba's mentor and Nagaho as Yuki's mentor. Now i wonder we will se Mei's mentor in this series.

So, Yuki technically invited Momo for a date and even had lunch with her. And after that we get an episode with Yuki and her mentor, which looks like soft yuri romcom. Well, damn dudes, this isn't a Revue Starlight or Princess Principal, where you can play endlessly with Class S, why are you trying to limit the subtext in the show, which literally screams "this is yuri bait from authors, who adore yuri"?

Based on this episode alone I could say that if there it's actually a traitor Mei would be the main candidate and that Yuki will be die on the next episode.

badass indeed, didn't even panic that she was basically permanent blinded in one eye

she must have a high tolerance for pain, or that spyce they eat also acts as anesthetic

wow! things are getting more dreaded!
we got to see Hanzo's mentor who got foddered!
this won't end well for sure, i think there would be main character causalities in this one cuz it would be lame if only Nagaho is the only one who got foddered...
5/5.

So, we get some flashback of what happened to Yuki's eye and the bad guys just happen to remember the same thing. And are planning their next defeat probably around the same memorial day... that's a bit cliché, but it's still good. Well, except for the eye-patch wearing military bad guy trying to take over the world, while becoming slightly bigger with steroids... Like were is martini man Bond when you need him?
Also, one earthbound satellite dish being able to hack into all the satellites? Even the ones at the other side of the world or even the one's on the next longitude and in all idrections? Impressive, I have to say, but if Tsukikage should try that again I may have an preposition: A TOW rocket has a range of over 3.5 kilometres and is guided by thread, so yeah... that could've done the trick with the dish at least...

But something is giving me the idea that Yuki's mentor will maybe come back as an expermental weapon by Moryo. At least that would add to the psychological twist in those shows...

Sad backstory from Yuki.

If that Tendou survived, there's a chance also survived, right? Things will get more serious next episode.

Pretty interesting and enjoyable episode. I "loved" Yuki's backstory. It helped me understand better her worry about Momo and why she overprotects her.

Overall, probably my favorite episode so far.

Never expected cute girls that are spies/ninjas would actually elicit a pretty solid story. Nothing spectacular, but it has been enjoyable. Even got a tragic death.

Yeah even without the preview it doesn't bode well for Hanzou. Was nice to see the disciple side of her though.

Tendou also went from arch-viliain to nemesis, good build-up.

God this show is miserable to watch, The way a lot of scenes are written feels like it was meant to appeal to pre-teens almost on a Powerpuff Girls level but then there's shit tons of murder, yakuza, drugs, gore and even a child trafficking storyline like holy shit what a total fucking mess.
