THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE.
----------------------------------------
1st: I enjoyed it. Enjoyed the whole "hard landing/soft landing" concept and the occasional fan service <3
2nd: Wasn't really into this segment.
3rd: Third was otaku-related. Thought it was ok to watch.

A so-so episode for me.

The opening was slightly different, I didn't expect that.

I loved the last part of the episode, because of all the otaku-related stuff. Quite a lot of Hokuto no Ken / Saint Seiya / Eva references!

And I hope that they will do something special for the last episode next week.

A part was full of Niconico jokes. The shaft staffs are surely Niconico addicts. "Yukkuri Shiteittene!" I love the Kafuka's soft landing thing. It's a politically dangerous joke.
B part. The parody of Ozaki Yutaka house was funny. I also think those Ozaki fans are obnoxious.
C part: Going against the tide. Hentai Usui found fetish from girl's leg. Katte ni Kaizou will be an anime!? I can't wait for that!

The first part was great, "Your death needs a soft landing" - creepy!
The second part wasn't interesting, not compared to the other two parts, but I did like the hotel with the Kanji made from lights.
The third part was great, especially the leg fetish and Chiri's Che Guevara enlightenment. I know a few people who barely know who that was but still wear a t-shirt...

Lol did anyone else spot the fake Beijing Olympics Haruhi on the book Harumi was reading? And I laughed when Tomokazu Sugita said he liked pony tails from being a fan of horse racing! We also learn that Usui Kagerou has a serious thing for Kobushi Abiru (so do I for that matter). Last but not least, Mao T-Shirt (I soooo want one).

Lol me too!! Good episode but i agree with everyone the B part wasnt that entertaining. Also, the new "Zetsuboushita" sequence (from last episode if i remember correctly) is even funnier, especially if Sugita Tomokazu is the one saying it xD

Seriously. As I've maintained before, Chiri-chan's evil-ness is surpassed only by Kafuka's more subtle brand of evil...

I mean, she basically came up with a step-by-step plan to abduct humans and sell them as food to aliens in a matter of seconds. That's hard to beat.

In her defense, that's a better outcome than simply being massacred by the aliens. :|

It's still...evil...in a very subtle way. They really ought to explore Fuura-chan's dark side more often.

Nozomu levelled up!

I laughed at the whole 'get into Chinese history because of Dynasty Warriors' and "get into rock-climbing because of Shadow of the Colossus "!

And the Che Guevara thing made me laugh because of the amount of times I lectured all the people in my school wearing Guevara apparel without knowing who he was (it was quite big when I was 15-16)!
Your search on "Oran Solus" returned the following quotes:
"Oran Solus? I know him. What a wanker. He still owes me a tenner." Oscar Wilde
"Oran, you're so intelligent and awesome <3" Bakayaro
"Oran's sexy." LolitaDecay
"Oran is a sophisticated penguin." Drybananna
"Oran is a Hand-Eye you faggots." EddieSpaghetti
"Oran for Prime Minister." the_prime_one
"Oran is all that is stated in his sig and more." orbitzz

Usui''s leg fetish made me thought that bandage girl was hot. =p

"I decided to study medicine because of Nurseplay." LOL

and

"Incidentally, I got into ponytails from being a fan of horse racing." ROFLMAO

Also, Matoi got a lot of screentime and lines. :D

Spotted some references esp. LOTGH.

Another great episode, you can relate to a lot of stuff that happened in this episode. And Chiri is simply demoniac! Indeed she knows a lot of massacres and bloodsheds, and does take part in some! I think Chiri becoming the embodiment of evil wasn't planned by Shaft, it probably sorta just happened :P

PS: There were A LOT of references this time around, in all parts, and not only anime/manga!

I liked the soft landing part especially killing slowly, LOL.

Got involved into someone drama was okey.

Jigoku Shoujo reference at the black board :) Damn, so many references but I only know few of them, sigh :(

LOL...Lupin and Gokuu voice at the reverse current part. I can relate many things to this part like because of K-ON, I started to love Anisong.

I'm literally Itoshiki this episode. I hate getting involved in other people's dramas. Lmfao. I feel you, maan.

"I'm a man so, I decide what anime to watch by the seiyuu appearing in it!" Holy shit, that's me 90% of the time. Pfffft.

Chiri-chan this episode is so relatable. I usually ask people who are wearing, for an instance, a Kurt Cobain shirt then I'm gonna ask them if they know who's the person on their shirt then they'll say no, and it urge me to become Chiri-chan myself. Lmfao.

"Maybe he's trying to take a shit, but the shit just won't come out."

My favorite episode of this season thus far, that's for sure. That's likely because this one was the easiest to relate to and understand. Every topic here was just so true for me despite the obvious cultural barrier. I tend to overthink about how to make a soft landing on a lot of things before failing, I keep getting mixed into other people's drama, and I always watch the anime before the manga lmao

DV Girl's real t h i c c in this ep ♥ Marionette Teacher's Pet finally grown on me too and that's good.

That part talking about the GT-R is pretty damn accurate, everyone and their mom knows what a R-34 is even if they aren’t into cars here in the United States. Also how did everyone miss the ponytail reference to Haruhi? Ikkyu is voiced by Sugita who voiced Kyon from Melancholy of Haruhi and in the show he makes a note saying he likes it when Haruhi puts her hair in a ponytail. Maybe I’m reaching though.

Chiri is absolutely terrifying, and I still love her. Best Despair girl.
The thing about the Che t-shirt was true. It used to be everywhere a decade or so ago. I didn't really know who he was until like a few years ago.
They really went above and beyond with the Eva references this time. Actually there were too many references to other anime in this episode and I'm sure I missed a few of them.

There's so much on-screen text. This is a crummy way to do jokes in a TV show. It only makess sense as a manga but this anime is very lazy about adapting it to a different medium.
