| Like the others have stated above, I can't bring myself to hate Furuta... :( It was sad to see Furuta as a child, who learned that members of the Washuu clan who aren't part of the main family die around 30... Furuta just smiled and said, "I've just got to do everything I want to in the time I have, huh?" But really, no one would want to learn that... Before Furuta died, his last image was a family he would have wanted with Rize, as parents who have a little child and a newborn in their arms… </3 If an afterlife and being reborn exists, I hope Furuta gets his wish. I see where Furuta is coming from too, when he called Kaneki a narcissist who preaches high values, but fails at everything he does (against Jason, Anteiku’s destruction, the Quinx Squad as Haise Sasaki, and to ghoulkind as the One-Eyed King...). Furuta watching Kaneki fail at his attempts doesn't give Furuta any hope for the world anyway, and I think he's just ready to die; there's just no hope for him in the society they live in. |

| We can't really say we can't blame Furuta for what he had become. Even if his life was short same as the other relatives who were not from the main family of the Washuu, Furuta had a choice. Same as Arima. When he called Kaneki a narcissist. It's as if he was just reflecting on himself. |
 She got him back. If you understand the characters well enough, you'd know she did! |
| I agree with furuta, ken isn’t special in any case. Many characters have experienced worse. |
