| Liz to Aoi Tori is a movie directed by Naoko Yamada, which means it's objectively the greatest thing ever. It currently (November 22nd) has a score of 8.35 and 20 1/10 votes. FMA: Brotherhood (which is not the greatest thing every) has 501 2/10's and 2293 1/10's. This is the standard we can expect for more popular highly rated anime. If Liz to Aoi Tori has 2 2/10's, then that means it should have 8 1/10's. Instead it has 20. That means that 12 1/10's are invalid. If you remove them from the equation then ... The proper score is 8.44 That's too low considering this is objectively perfect. So let's remove all the 1/10's and say it's proper score is 8.50. That's still too low. Let's remove all the 2/10's and 3/10's. That makes it 8.53. Screw it, everything that isn't a 10/10 is obviously from someone who hasn't actually seen the movie so let's just assume it's proper score is 10.00 |

I think a few extra 10/10's can be forgiven considering my low average relative to the global average (even if you only count the scores of anime I've completed). The one thing I've scored which I haven't seen, is Liz to Aoi Tori. Firstly because of all the spite voting. Secondly because it's 100% guaranteed that this movie will be the greatest thing ever (considering Naoko Yamada's track record, making three of my four favourite anime). |

For example, I don't score sequels (because if someone sorts my list by score, I don't want them to see the clutter), but Nisemonogatari and Haruhi Season 2 definitely deserves a 10/10 from me. This is a way to score them without cluttering my list. Instead of lying about having seen 1/5 of Saint Seiya on my own account, I keep the accurate number on my own account and put the falsified number on my second account. In short, my second account is a way to hide part of my list (and grant me access to an 11/10 for Tamako Market). Like how people sometimes have second accounts for hentai. |
