THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE.
----------------------------------------
Another great episode of Ares.
Whilst the match felt short, it still had great moments toward Kozomaru and Goujin's rivalry as well as two characters gaining techniques.

As for my theory of Kabeyama joining the match in the second half, that didn't happen sadly.
One more thing that caught my attention. The opponent's technique, Rensa the Wall seemed to be a four person technique, as well as Hiura's Ice Spear looked like a pass technique.
Is it just me or did this confirm 4 person/Pass techniques for the new game?

Either way, it looks like next week will be focused on Seishou Academy, as well as their match against Kidokawa.

I think Hiura Hissatsu is Long Shot technique, which is not rare to be used as shoot chained or long pass, and 4 person Hissatsu is nice addtion tho, since we officially we only got 3 person Hissatsu, which if its true, we will see more

The coach's ambiguous training pays off (no surprise) Wish the big dude would have learned an original move, but his version of The Wall was pretty cool. Decent episode. The match was pretty short, but the ending made up for it with sweet looking Ice Arrow.

I really hope the new goalie doesn't pull out a God Hand, lol.

And those triplets in the preview! Triangle Z incoming.

I am quite surprised that Kidokawa Seishu is in the same preliminary block of FF with Raimon and Seishou. (Next episode preview)

Which means that one of the 3 teams cannot enter FF main round, which is quite strange in plot writing

In the Inazuma Walker Hino himself confirmed two new game mechanics.
1. Pass moves are now a thing.
2. OverRide techniques are when you combine multiple techniques into one. For instance 4 The Walls became Rensa the Wall. I'm guessing now shots like Dragon Tornado are OverRides too.

I did not watch the original Inazuma Eleven, but this one is a total shit. Very unlikable and horrible looking characters (except the females), weak match and does not give you any feeling etc. I think I'll drop it now, I just can't get attached to these characters

I'm also watching Captain Tsubasa (2018), and the difference is like and day night between two.

Didn't expect Kabeyama's original move "The wall" to have so many variations
Even though they don't have a cool and flashy character (like Gouenji, kidou, Endou) in their group, I still like this new team full of quirky characters
I'm still left wondering if Kozoumaru is younger than Gouenji or that he is just incredibely short
