3 episodes of Ares no Tenbin in and I can say that you'll miss some references if you watched only the first 27 episode of Inazuma or even just Endou generation before watching this, it may still trivial at this point but it might becomes more significant later so I make a guide for complete Inazuma Eleven anime experience that you can binge watch

The main TV broadcast has 4 arcs, not complicated at this point
Inazuma Eleven 127 episodes (Football Frontier sub-arc 1-26, Aliea Academy sub-arc 27-67, Football Frontier International sub-arc 68-127)
Inazuma Eleven Go 47 episodes, it's what happen ten years later, introducing Tenma generation
Inazuma Eleven GO Chrono Stone 51 episodes
Inazuma Eleven Go Galaxy 43 episodes

Now the movies are what's more complicated
Inazuma Eleven the Movie: The Invasion of the Strongest Army Ogre have to watch after finishing Inazuma Eleven episode 112
Inazuma Eleven GO the Movie: The Ultimate Bonds Gryphon have to watch after finishing Inazuma Eleven Go episode 33
Inazuma Eleven GO VS Danball Senki W have to watch after finishing Inazuma Eleven Go Chrono Stone episode 31 and Danball Senki W after episode 43, Danball Senki is the mecha toy franchise of Level-5, the first Danball Senki arc has 44 episodes while its sequel Danball Senki W has 58 and Danball Senki Wars with another 37 episodes
Inazuma Eleven Chou Jigen Dream Match have to watch after finish the final episode of Inazuma Eleven Go Galaxy

After finish the whole thing now you can start the Ares era by start at Inazuma Eleven Outer Code (6 mini episodes) then Inazuma Eleven Reloaded and finally Inazuma Eleven Ares no Tenbin itself

Yeah that's pretty accurate. However I think all the rest of the movies can be watched at any given time or more preferable once you've finished the TV series of the generation that the movie takes place in. Like, you can watch The Invasion of the Strongest Army Ogre after you've completed the first Inazuma Eleven series that consist of 127 episodes. The second movie might be more closely related to the events taking place in Inazuma Eleven GO so I think your suggestion to watch it after Episode 33 was good. The rest of the two movies I think can be watched once you've done with GO: Chrono Stone and Galaxy respectively. I haven't watched any of the Danball Senki series although I'm familiar with the relation that it follows with the Inazuma Eleven franchise and I've seen the crossover movie as well. I've heard the Chou Jigen Dream Match movie isn't that great, I've yet to see it. That's the only movie missing from my list, I've watched everything else. Oh yeah, and the Reloaded Episode is left as well. But there's no database entry here on MAL so once they add, I'll watch it and add it to my list as well.

Thanks for this! I had forgotten about the GO generation. I might check it out before ANT gets too deep into its plot.

Don't know about Tenma fate, but in Ares no Tenbin they just replicate the scene where Gouenji kick a ball to catch a thief, a thief is even the same person!

It's kind of confusing, someone on the anime team(Ì forgot who) said that Tenma died since Gouenji never went to Okinawa to save him, he also mentionned that for someone to come back to life(Atsuya) there must be someone who die or something like that.

At the same time, some fan argue that it can't be because in chrono stone when Gouenji didn't save tenma he just went to the hospital for some weeks instead of dying.

So whatever float your boat I guess, not that he will appear anyway ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Too lazy to browse though all those episodes myself so take the info from wikia that said '3 months of coma'
Anyway, this new timeline change so many things that it's even possible that Tenma is not born (due to his parents never met or never get married)
And even all of that I still recommend to watch Tenma generation.

Yeah, that's what it was. I'm not sure if it was made jokingly or not, but I doubt they'd kill of the protagonist in show like this, lol. I don't know though, maybe some of the GO members make some cameos as kids.

I mean you can, but that won't be a complete Inazuma Eleven anime experience.

Yes it is totally fine, in fact I think Ares is a bit more grownup than Go and I much prefer it.
(Ares has no reference to Go since Go is 10 years in the future)

Okay then theres one reference of a character as a child in the hospital hahaha
Still isnt mandatory and you can skip if you wish, cuz I didnt even notice that easter egg

It depends on what you like, if you like the wackiness of it all then Go is for you since its more aimed for children and makes less and less sense.
I prefer Ares cuz its more grounded and I think the story is done way better.
Its too bad they didn't do a good job with Orion though.
(At least Orion's second half, but it has problems in animation overall. Still searching for the bluray since it fixed some stuff)
