Its a remake of the original novels been fairly close to the spirit and character of the original for the first two episodes with flashier battles though its only planned to adapt the first two novels or the first 26 episodes of the original in this series and three movies in 2019. If you want to just watch one the original is completed whereas the new one is depended on its success to get more seasons to finish the other 8 novels. I am just watching both and greatly enjoying both their takes on the story. |
