Welp, business picked up this episode and this is probably the most serious I've seen from the way the guys reacted. I mean, their princess is kidnapped after all.

Even though Vino and Narek gets into awkward arguments a lot of the times, this episode showed that when someone they care about is in trouble, they can be on the same page and do what it takes to save them. Vino earned my respect for sure.

I've been loving this series for the parody, but kinda curious now for all the chars. nice little shift, I notice the 3rd episode rule seems to be shifting towards the 10th episode latly.

Things have gotten a lot more serious. It was brave of Vino to protect them like that, just like Narek did back then. I feel a bit bad for Narek, he just wants to help Ani, but no one will listen to him.

Dıid I miss something about this being an action anime? Actually, I'm very happy right now but there are only 2 episodes left and I'm not sure if they can cover everything they laid on us this episode.

I WANT THE NEXT 2 EPISODES RIGHT NOW.
HOW CAN YOU LEAVE US LIKE THIS? I WANT EVERYTHING TO BE THE SAME.

Wow this actually got kind of dark O_o I'm glad I gave this show a chance. It was fun, but it also shows us reality can hit us hard sometimes.

This episode.... I thought this will be comedic till the end... omg.. What a serious episode.. XD
But seriously.. Poor Narek.. If only he mentions the coup right away, then at least he can postpone the war for a while.. T_T

I'm starting to get embarrassed by my own forum signature line.. XD

Shit just got real, especially for Narek lol I don't pity him like the others here coz this will be a perfect development for him and being the canon for Ani and all, tired of his spoiled childish quirks is why Ani won't take him seriously

I feel conflicted about this episode. At one hand, it's pretty good that the characters are now being hit with a very serious conflict that will change them forever and u kno, more plot for the anime.
ON THE OTHER HAND the show so far have been so silly with its comedy, characters being over the top and now we have this episode that is taking itself very seriously all of the sudden. It feels off???? even tho I knew it was gonna happen bc of the last ep ending. but hey maybe next ep will change my mind or something idk

I feel bad for Prince Narek after he got dethroned.....
It's been on my mind for a long time since I noticed how all the subordinates have been treating him...
It's like he has been losing their respect ever since the princess got kidnapped, and the whole coup incident....

Narek isn't a bad guy....He can be self obsessed and selfish at times but when the princess, Vino or anyone is in danger or trouble.....he is the first person that plunges to save them....

I really hope the show turns in Narek's favor and he regains his respect and authority as the Prince again.

10/10.
Ani saves herself, Narek is having a crisis which is important for him to become a competent ruler, Vino shows his true self and Teo and Grimaru are doing their best.

I gotta admit, I thought the transition would be odd but this anime handled it well. Of course, not as well as a real action anime, but this is NOT an action anime so I didn't expect anything of that caliber.

This a good reverse harem, please watch it.

It is a bit jarring that such a silly show suddenly got serious, but overall I liked this episode and I guess all the silly stuff from before made me feel for the characters.
That said, two criticisms:
A) When Narek was talking to Riot, I kept screaming in my head "JUST TELL HIM THERE'S A COUP". I feel like there were various points in the conversation where Narek or Ani could have just said that outright.
B) In any case, isn't the coup kinda screwed when the army comes back? I mean, the entire army, that is one well-known being a fearsome and impressive one, was with the King. Yes, that made the initial takeover easier, but that army is likely still loyal to the King, or at least most of them are. I dunno, maybe they have a plan for that that we'll see in the next episode?
I just wanted to point these things out, still looking forward to the next one! I wonder how Serenfaen is involved in all this...

I loved that part!! Ani was so cool, and it was cute that they showed that it actually hurt X) Hopefully Narek teaches her how to "bang" open a door one day :p

On a side note: Interesting to see the show get a bit more serious. It was kind of hard seeing all of the knights not willing to follow Narek's orders, or respect him, but it's understandable (though it hurt when Riot/Liott also chose to follow the king). I hope he learns from this experience and starts being less "selfish," looking forward to seeing him improve. Shout out to that one guard who helped Narek escape, I hope he is okay...

Well, that escalated quickly D:
So much tension and seriousness in this episode (compared to the previous ones), but I liked it anyway. No more just a funny comedy, now the plot actually keep my interest quite high. I miss some gags though...

Well, I feel bad for him too, on a personal level... But on the other hand he clearly isn't suited for the throne, and his father less than him, since he's always waging wars it seems... I'm with the rebels, on a political level, but I also can't help but to sympathize with Narek since he's one of the MC of the show and is, deep down, a good guy
