| Maaaan, I thought this would be a whole new story, but it's mostly a second season recap. What a let down. :( |
| The movie centers around Haru with his inner struggle. It has young main two and the guys from the prequel movie (even in the beginning) appearing in the beginning. So first season is also among the flashback. It seems like Hirakawa-san's character do remember about his appearance in prequel movie. The movie tries to add after story of prequel movie, too. Theme song is actually OP, huh, not like normal movie where theme song is aired at the end. 1st season's special ED was aired at the end instead. |

| I wish MAL would make it more clear that these movies are basically a recap of eternal summer. It's listed as a prequel to S3 and the synopsis makes it seem like new content but there's only like 8 minutes of new content in the 1 hour and 35 minutes this goes on for. It's fine if you don't remember much from Eternal Summer but since I just did a re-watch this movie was a bit of a let down for me. O well still keen for take your mark and dive to the future~ |
