Hello, everyone. I'm writing this to give some info on the events that will happen in the series as there's no Wikia or a translation about the 3rd and 4th manga adaptation of Ousama Game. This will not be thorough timeline since I'll primarily explain the start and ending of each manga adaptation (I will skip the full intro of Kigen and Ousama Game since it's already fully translated). Don't read this if you don't want to be spoiled. Let's start at the origin first. Timeline: A. Ou-sama Game - Kigen (King's Game: Origin) 30 years ago in the remote Yonaki Village. This is where it all started and the participants are all the villagers (30-31 people I think) Main Characters: - Honda Kazunari - Natsuko (I'm not sure if her last name was revealed or I forgot her last name.) It was discovered the Ousama Game is actually caused by a virus that became self-aware and infected every villagers. The virus came when Natsuko broke a jar in the medicine house at their home that contains the deadliest poisons in the world and it mutated into a virus that infects the mind. It uses the power of suggestion to the ultimate level that even the human body's cell has to comply to the virus on whatever order the virus wants to do based on the result of the Ousama Game. (Example: Non-compliance participant will have their bones break. The virus orders the body of the host to break their bones) At the last part of the series. Kazunari and Natsuko are the remaining survivor of the game and an order for Kazunari to kill Natsuko was given. Natsuko was able to read the letter that contains the order beforehand since she's the writer of all the Ousama games letters (only for this Ousama Game). She ran away and went to the medicine house and find a poison which she swapped to the medicine for her sickness she had and let Kazunari feed that poison to her to make sure that the order (to kill her) was complied with. After eating the poison, Natsuko reveals the letter to Kazunari and died happily. Kazunari was given another letter to continue the Ousama Game or be punished. Kazunari buried Natsuko and finally left the village to live on a research facility by the government on a nearby mountain to be a guinea pig for the researchers of the virus. Kazunari has diagnosed that the virus became dormant and the research was called off. He was able to live his life and marry. He had twin daughters (Natsuko and Chiemi). Natsuko (daughter) reminds Kazunari of Natsuko (lover) so he gets angry and had to let Natsuko (daughter) live with his parents. Natsuko was still a baby when she left to live with her grandparents. B. Ou-sama Game (King's Game) One day, all of the students in Nobuaki's class received their first message from someone calling themselves the "King", in which was written a baffling command. They thought it was a prank but later found it was true that they will be punished (e.g death) if they don't follow the order. The life-threatening "Game" has now begun for the 32 students of the first year's B Class. Main Character: - Kanazawa Nobuaki - Honda Chiemi The mother of Chiemi (Takao Rie) came back to the village to study the virus as she thought that this will end war and create worldwide peace by controlling people with the power of suggestion. Note: A. On Ousama Game, it was revealed the name of her mother was Honda Natsuko but on Ousama Game Kigen, it was narrated on the ending that the name of Kazunari's wife is Takao Rie. About the Ousama Virus in the modern day. B. The Ousama Game on Kigen was caused by biological virus. The Ousama Game Nobuaki got infected to was both digital and biological virus. Digital devices is the spreader of the virus (e.g laptop/phones). Later, she had to stopped researching after she gave birth to Chiemi & Natsuko. She attempt to destroy her research but the virus mutated into an independent virus. She was killed on the process and afterwards other researchers continued her work. An experiment was needed to be conducted and Honda Chiemi's class became the test subject. Chiemi's phone became the server of all the Ousama Game text messages to the participants. At the last part of the series, with the last participants got killed one after another. Chiaki was stabbed in the legs and Ria got incinerated (after she explains the Ousama Game's true nature / Also she's a world class level hacker.) Afterwards, Nobuaki had to kill his most loved one within 5 minutes otherwise both him and Chiemi will die. Chiemi wanted Nobuaki to kill her to save him but died of blood loss instead. Not sure if that counts as death by hands of Nobuaki but the Ousama Game says the Nobuaki became the winner of the Ousama Game. C. Ou-sama Game: Rinjou (King's Game: Spiral) This is a side story for Ou-sama Shuukyoku. Many years after Ou-sama Shuukyouku. Two teenager girls went to an old school to try and investigate the King's Game that killed 30 students in high school. They found out a notebook written by Honda Natsuko Main Characters Honda Natsuko Kentaro (Not sure what his last name), also the one Natsuko loves. What happened to Ou-sama Rinjou? 3 months before the events of Ou-sama Game: Shuukyoku. In the previous school of Natsuko, her class became part of the Ousama game. The manga started already showing that the game is already halfway through and the participants are already killing other participants right and left while the game is also killing the participants as well. (I'll skip the details of each game's order since it's not much important to the ending). Throughout the event, Natsuko became violent and twisted due to experiencing all the deaths of her classmate and killing one herself (by slamming a girl's face to the wall). Later... Natsuko, Kentaro, some minor characters and the blue haired bitch girl was the only surviving participant. Minor characters got killed due not being able to complete the order and Kentaro was killed as well due to not obeying the order. Natsuko on the other hand lost consciousness and is in a hospital. She woke up and ran to the rooftop where she found Blue haired bitch girl all bandaged and looking like a mummy (due to being incinerated on a burning classroom/house). She talks with Natsuko while blue haired bitch girl went to the rooftop railing. Along the discussion, blue haired bitch girl made Natsuko angry and due to that Natsuko pushed her off the railing and falls to her death. Thus Natsuko being the winner of the Ousama Game 3 months later she transferred school (twisted and hiding her true personality) on the school where the next Ou-sama Game will happen (Ou-sama Game: Shuukyoku) Meanwhile, for the other girls who finished reading the story... they received a text and become the next characters on the Ou-sama game. D. Ou-sama Game: Shuukyoku (King's Game: Extreme) Nobuaki transferred on a new school and met all the new classmates. He later found out that a new Ou-sama Game is starting. Main Character: Honda Natsuko Kanazawa Nobuaki Riona Matsumoto Natsuko being a previous participant of Ou-sama Game shown her true personality. She also hook up with one of the classmate to follow the order. The last part of the series is a marathon wherein all the survivors has to run to a certain place or catch up to Natsuko (I wasn't able to know the details of the mission for the marathon). Survivors that wasn't able to keep up get their heads beheaded and other stuff. Nobuaki and Riona's bonding thickens throughout the marathon. (She seeems to fall in love with Nobuaki) Finally Nobuaki, Riona and other minor characters finally found the building where Natsuko is. Natsuko took a chainsaw and gave it to one of the classmates. The classmate wasn't able to hold the chainsaw properly and got his leg ripped, Natsuko also pressed the chainsaw more and cut off all his leg. Then she took the chainsaw and killed the other minor characters and was going to kill Riona next. Nobuaki stopped Natsuko by talking to her but later he receives a call from of one of the researcher (don't know his name) and talks about the virus (it being digital, how it spread and etc). The phone was in loud spouker and Natsuko got mad about what the researcher told. She tried to strangle Nobuaki however Riona was able to get the chainsaw and slashed Natsuko on the back. Riona went to Nobuaki as she thought Natsuko is already dead but she wasn't. Natsuko took the chainsaw and slice the neck of Nobuaki. Nobuaki died and fell to the ground and Natsuko fell on his back. On her last breath, Natsuko was reminded of her school days on her previous school with Kentaro (made me cry). Riona dragged Nobuaki to the beach wherein she lied down and kiss Nobuaki. Afterwards, she dragged his body to the ocean then look at the night sky and let go. She died of drowning with Nobuaki's body. Note: All the participants died. Afterwards, we will see the mother of Nobuaki reading a letter from her son then put it down and exit the house. Meanwhile, on the Television there's an announcement that the King's Game begins again but now. All high school students living in Japan are the participants. F. Ou-sama Game: Metsubo (King's Game Annihilation) All high school students in Japan must participate in the Ou-sama Game. Participants from Hiroshima prefecture must move to Okayama Prefecture Main Character: Tomohisa (not sure about his last name) Tomoka (not sure about her last name) (No details in the ending since I can't read the novel) Some info we know: Tomohisa was able to get some information/details about the late Nobuaki G. Ou-sama Game: Shin'en (King's Game Abyss) 32 Students from Japan, Korean and Taiwan who gathered in an isolated island in Taiwan for training. Then suddenly, new Ou-sama game command has been issued and the new hell game starts. Main Characters: Akio Sakamoto Komatsuzaki Mika |

I believe they will follow the series throughly and will just add some minor changes. The anime will directly adapt Ousama Game and Ousama Game: Shuukyoku. I believe there will be some flashbacks from Rigen that will appear as well since it will explain the twisted behavior of Natsuko. There's some minor changes though. Natsuko is supposed to be #24 in the class attendance book but in the anime she's #25 so maybe there will add some other minor changes. |

She woke up and ran to the rooftop where she found Blue haired bitch girl all bandaged and looking like a mummy (due to being incinerated on a burning classroom/house). She talks with Natsuko and later suicide by jumping off the building. Thus Natsuko being the winner of the Ousama Game 3 months later she transferred school (twisted and hiding her true personality) on the school where next Ou-sama Game will happen (Ou-sama Game: Shuukyoku) Meanwhile, for the other girls who finished reading the story... they received a text and become the next characters on the Ou-sama game. (She seeems to fall in love with Nobuaki) Finally Nobuaki, Riona and other minor characters finally found the building where Natsuko is and Natsuko took a chainsaw and give it to one of the classmates. Classmates wasn't able to hold the chainsaw properly and got his leg ripped, Natsuko also pressed the chainsaw more and cut off all his leg. Then she took the chainsaw and killed the other minor characters and was going to kill Riona next. Nobuaki stopped Natsuko by talking to her but later he receives a call from of one of the researcher (don't know his name) about the virus (it being digital, how it spread and etc). Main Characters: Akio Sakamoto Komatsuzaki Mika About Metsubou arc i think Shuichi(Tomohisa's best friend) is Main Character too in later of this arc Not sure, we might be able to see when there's a manga version of Abyss |

I was wondering about this too !! It would make sense for him to wish for the Ousama game to never happen again or for Chiemi to come back. However no one said that wish would come true right? I mean if he wished for the Ousama game to never happen again, it would be weird for the Ousama game to happen again in what is happening in the anime no? If he wished for Chiemi to come back, does that just mean he just went back in time and had to relive the entire game again, and then the Natsuko (twin sister/ daughter) arc happens after? It seems like the stackexchange answer suggest that he goes back in time, and instead of Chiemi he is actually confessing to Natsuko (the twin) because Chiemi won't be there because his wish would be: bring Chiemi back in a world where ousama does not exist? Or it could be parallel universes, he wishes for something and go to a parallel universe where everything is good and nice, and all the bad things just still happens in the world we are in now? If anyone made sense of the ending of Ousama game ending please @ or Quote me. I'm so very very confused |

If anyone made sense of the ending of Ousama game ending please @ or Quote me. I'm so very very confused Don't nessesarly have an answer yet, but if we are talking about the whole Natsuko and Chiemi ending idea, its possible that it was at first Natsuko posing as Chiemi (for some reason) and when Nobuaki was given the ability for a wish he asked for a life where the Ousama game didn't exist and to be with Chiemi again, it caused a switch with Natsuko and Chiemi and had him relive the whole event (unknowingly) just to continue onto a different school sparking part 2. Id think with that wish it kind of messed him up and took on the second part of his wish (in this case) switching Chiemi and Natsuko (who would have been "Chiemi" in the first time he lived through it). |

There is actually two more arcs that come before Abyss, Play, and Purgatory. I did find the cell phone novel online if anyone is interested in reading it https://estar.jp/_novel_view?w=10534837 You will have to use Bing Translate to read, but it's the best way since the group translating the novels abandoned the project. I'm liking the anime so far, it seems pretty faithful with a few minor changes here and there. I'm interested to see how they do the end for the first arc, since at the beginning of the anime what happened to Chiemi is quite different. |

Too bad Riona died following the Nobuaki's death. I think this ousama game is a series that remain unsolved until the end of all the series. Most of the ending didnt even getting close to how to stop this "poisonous and deadly virus". From what I learned in my biology subject, virus can't be killed. It only can be frozen or weakened. The only way to stop virus is to create a vaccine, a weakened viruses that teach the immune system to train your body to fight disease by mimicking the viruses itself. But yeah, this is a fiction world. Anything can be happen illogically. |

That jar was filled with 1000 year curses that her family liked to collect for fun, only when Natsuko broke the jar she let them out and they infected the entire village with a virus. (this happened in the prequel and it's the only Ousama Game that makes sense) Years later, that virus discovered cellphones and decided that being a human virus wasn't fun anymore. So it somehow became a digital virus and infected people via the power of mobile technology. I'm assuming that the jar of curses was so potent that it was able to become gain a brain or something. How? That's not something one really needs to worry about in this series. |

Ousama Game and the prequel have been translated and you can pretty much find it anywhere. The manga that this anime is based on only has one chapter released, but the raws are out there if you're interested. There are some light novels as well, but I don't know if they've been translated or not. (I just checked and only the first volume has been translated, but it's not finished) Lukeyuriraine25 said: MonoJuMal said: CJ_Kiyoruki said: MonoJuMal said: CJ_Kiyoruki said: MonoJuMal said: CJ_Kiyoruki said: So who makes all the orders? The virus then mutated and wanted to destroy everyone else. How did it go into the phone network? I don't know, but it's not something we're meant to question much. It started off as a curse/virus and mutated into something much more. |

Thank you for explaining all these things :O I really want to know more about the Ousama Game universe (though I didn't like the anime, but the manga especially Kigen was good), does anybody know a place to read/download the Rinjou manga in english? or maybe a translation of the Metsubo or Shin'en? I know this is a pretty impossible thing but maybe.. |

Zeinfier said: Hello, everyone. Main Characters: Akio Sakamoto Komatsuzaki Mika holy shit thanks for explaining everything. bascially the kings game can never end? |

I say it because according to religion if you commit suicide then you do not go to heaven and as seen in the scene the sky does exist and Natsuko is there although he killed several of his companions xD |
