| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- This return to shinobi dueling with special techniques and to our initial characters makes it a bit more interesting again. Sadly, the recipe is starting to wear down by now. The new story kind of comes out of nowhere again but since we are thrown into the action right from the start, it doesn't matter. Drawings look slightly better. There are a few reused scenes despite the short duration of this last segment, and some Kurumada figures are quite extensively exploited. Enjoyment: 4/5 Score: 5/10 |

| Simon was definitely evil, and among some of the most difficult opponents that Kojirou had faced. Good thing that the mind control couldn't affect him. This OVA was shorter than the previous arcs, but still good. But I'm curious, how is Ryouma back from the dead? Did reversing time at the end of the last arc bring him back? |
