Should Zero kara Hajimeru Mahou no Sho have a sequel?

I have just finished watching Zero kara Hajimeru Mahou no Sho, which I had enjoyed, and as I can understand, it seems that the people who had created Zero kara Hajimeru Mahou no Sho left it open ended, possible, making it open for a sequel.

Does anyone think that there should be a sequel/second season or that should be it?

I know that there have been several animes that look like that they should have at least a second season and a few of them have, like Attack on Titan, Card Captor, Koutetsujou no Kabaneri (aka Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress) Senki Zesshou Symphogear, FLCL and many others. The ones that I have mentioned are animes that I like and I know will made into sequel. And many more that look like that they could be made into sequels. but so haven't been done into a second season. So is why I am asking should Zero kara Hajimeru Mahou no Sho have at least a second season?

reality is, the series sold poorly.

The anime was mediocre.

And the Anime had the classic "one cour and done" story line that animators do when they don't expect another run.

It would have needed a Spice and Wolf 10K(50K) BD numbers to even consider a second season.

As a good fan of this anime I'm sad that s2 will never happen probably... too bad

The novel is ongoing.... so I wonder if this was just a major Arc from it, or it got an original ending?

From what I had seen at the ending of Zero kara Hajimeru Mahou no Sho, I think that it is part of a major arc and not an ending.

It needs a sequel cuz there are a lot of missing things .. they did not explain a lot of things like who is the witch and what does she want from subaru.. so There is a big prospect it will receive an another season

I definitely want a sequel for this. ;u; it was just such a feel good anime. It became one of my favorites after I was done! It would be awesome if we could get a sequel and merch such as nice figures for this series <3

i hope will have a new season soon. The story is so great. Maybe they will release the light novel in eng too

The anime adapts ONLY the first light novel of the 11 existing ones:
Arc 1: Zero kara hajimeru mahou no sho (volume 1)
Arc 2: Arcadius no Seijo (volumes 2 and 3)
Arc 3: Kokuryū Tō no Maki (volume 4)
Arc 4: Rakuen no Hakamori (volume 5)
Arc 5: Yomitsuki no Majo (volumes 6 and 7)
Arc 6: Kinshokan no Shisho (volume 8)
Arc 7: Zero no Yōhei (volumes 9 and 10) (Mini spoiler: The human version of Mercenary appears!!!)
Arc 8: Kemono to majo no mura-dzukuri (volume 11)

They should do a sequel. They have a lot of material to do it!

Ugh... The sales were very poor.. Even after almost a year. As they say. Money makes the world go round. You can't expect them to make another season if it doesn't work out for them🙄

If you guys really want a second season of this anime, well, we should do what we can as fans to support it, financially. I really wanna see youhei in human form kissing zero <3. I hate to see animes i like getting shelved because of some mainstreams.

It sucks to hear this series did poorly cause I was just looking to go find the Light novel to buy and continue the story, only to find it hasnt been released in english but only in french for some reason??? So that sucks. I'll never be able to see the Mercenary and Zero's relationship grow.

You could try https://readlightnovel.org/, and read it on there, they might have it. Enjoy.
