| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Welp, that was tense. I think Schierke may still be feeling a bit guilty after what happened before. One interesting part I noticed this episode is the continuous focus of the fire, like it represents something. Guts in his black knights armor is dope even with some of the heavy injury he took. Pretty chilling way for the show to make its return after the witch recollection recap. |

| Great episode. The berserk armor in all it's glory is just pure awesome. I enjoyed the fight. I can't help but think how much better this would have been if it had been animated in 2D by a different studio. Props to Schierke for managing to pull Guts's conscious out before he was consumed by the armor. I actually love how they depict Gut's giving into his primal self by showing his combat style change to a more beast like manner. Griffith got huge plans for the future. Guts will probably faint if he removes the armor. The sunset scene post credit was nice. :) |

| Finally we get to see the slightly white swordsman. Grunbeld's apostle form looked great, the fight itself had some badly animated moments but was still enjoyable. I never got the impression that Guts was growling like that while using the Berserker armor, it kinda surprised me. All the 2d scenes look great and they blend in with the CGI in this episode. We also got more of them than usual. The scene with the members of the resistance was okay, the summoned Kushan crocodile soldiers didn't look bad. Locus announces that Griffith will come to liberate the locals. I think this season will be 12 episodes so we probably won't get to that point now but it's all right they should take their time. Also, watch the scene after the credits. One of my favourite moments of the manga, I'm glad they included it. |

CGI is not easy to watch, but still a good work. The episode is totally amazing, also because of that: In any case I think it's a good way, also because it's totally different from the other anime we have in this period. A good way to diversify |
| This episode had a LOT of 2D scenes, those didn't look too bad actually. The rest didn't look very good even though the whole thing's pretty faithfull to the manga panels |

| The fight was somewhat entertaining but meh overall, it's ridiculous to think about what this could have looked like if it was animated in complete 2D by a competent studio. Maybe someday, Berserk will get a remake...... |

| Good episode. The Berserker Armor is insanely dangerous. All that blood coming out. Schierke saving Guts & bringing him back to his senses. Guts saving Casca & Farnese was great. The Mistress sacrificing herself to protect everyone. Nice to see Guts & the gang at the beach. They deserve to relax & what a lovely sunset. |

| As a non-manga reader, I liked the fighting scenes~ I don't see any reason for the hate though since I've already got used to its CGI and it is obviously better than Tsuki ga Kirei's background CGI characters.. Too bad that the battle scene got cut off too early. I was expecting Guts to finish that dragon. I'm just glad to see that he can now go toe to toe with those overpowered Apostles. |

| Well that was fun, and I definitely think missing a week helped as far as the animation was concerned. Obviously still wasn't perfect, but it was good enough to make the fight enjoyable enough. |
| Well, Guts vs Grunbeld isn't horrible as Guts vs Zodd. Just imagine how this fight will get worse if it was released last week. |

| Guts thanks to the "mahou" recover the conscience!!!! The Guts transformation about the hate (odo) was tremendous, because he is stronger and faster!!! The question here is, Guts with this armor, in beserker mode, could he defeat Griffith? :/ |

That was amazing - I've been saving the manga to read until later, as it's one of the if not the best out there. I can't believe that his body was shattered but he managed to do somersaults and save everyone at it - well, knowing Guts, I guess I wasn't the least surprised lol. And what about that white hair? It's a good change, it looks nice, but I don't like change - mod edit: post edited after merging |

| All those 2D shots. Imagine if the entire anime was like that. Just imagine... I always found it interesting how Griffith basically sent an entire army to kill Flora. She was that much of a threat to him. Respect to Flora. Rest in peace. |
