People around here who discuss tsundere girls always mention characters like Shana, Louise, Taiga etc. There is even a trope called Shana clones for those kind of characters.

Yet here's Lina Inverse:
- short, childish figure,
- pitchy voice,
- flat chest (which she's embarrassed about),
- long rapunzel hair (bonus: red hair as well),
- has a HUGE appetite for someone so little,
- really powerful and strong,
- selfish and mean to other people, even downright violent at times (she punches people a lot for sure),
- but has a hidden emotional soft side especially towards the man she secretly loves and never admits it, not even to herself. But she still gets triggered if something happens to him and even jealous if other girls are around him.

Sounds familiar? And she is around 10 years 'older' than the tsunderes mentioned above (1995). Yet nobody ever mentions her. I'm not saying she's the epithome of tsunderes or something, but I think she inspired many modern tsundere characters.
So, what do you think?

Get off with your trashy tsunderes.

There is only one queen of tsunderes and her name is Asuka Langley.

By the way, I forgot to mention, I was asking for decent opinions in my thread. Anything like: 'my opinion is better because it's my opinion and fuck you if you think differently', can go fuck itself.

hmm well I don't know
I don't remember that much when it comes to her acting tsun honestly
Being mean and rude to random to strangers isn't some I count as tsun also
When I watched the show I never felt like labelling her as any dere
but if she is tsundere and Im just not remember everything I would say she must of been a very calm tsundere so to say since it didn't make any long lasting impression on me

The term tsundere originally comes from Kimi ga Nozomu Eien, a visual novel from 2001

Of course there existed many characters prior to that that would also fit the trope, but they were not referred to as tsunderes back then

@HaXXspetten
ok then, by your logic we aren't allowed to refer to anything that was made before a term was created by that term even if it fits, which is rediculous.
Not that I care about stupid -dere waifu fetish garbage.
