Seiyuu Yuka Imai announced on her blog that she will take a break from voice acting jobs. The reason being that she has been notified by the doctor through a health check that her 3-year-old son who will be entering kindergarten is diagnosed with PDD (Pervasive Developmental Disorder). On one hand, she has pressure from it to the extent that she cannot voice out for her voice acting jobs. On another hand, she wants to accompany her son with PDD to have an enriched life. She stated that she will return once the situation has stabilized.

Imai's first seiyuu job was Yamarin from Kirameki Mori no Yanta-kun. Some of her notable roles are Yu Hayakawa from Final Fantasy: Unlimited, Rio Kinezono from the Burn Up series, Scarlet Ohara from Ai Tenshi Densetsu Wedding Peach, Chihiro Enomoto from Kujibiki Unbalance, Tomochika Shibuya from the Uta no☆Prince-sama♪ anime series, and more.

Oh shit, well. That's clearly understandable enough for her end. Hope everything goes well for her end and her son as well.

I hope her boy gets well.

And that she can return to voice acting afterwards as soon as possible.
