DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- "How unfortunate for you...that your life is what I desired." <-- What did Shikon mean?? I like that the characters are samurai! I read a lot of stories that take place in the present, so this feels refreshing :) Souji's sister was blushing, when Saiga pulled her close to him... Saiga probably didn't notice, since everyone was more focused on the people rushing on the streets... It seems Anji and Saiga have a trusting relationship. Maybe something happened, for Saiga to have his back turned to Anji, without any fear of getting stabbed? Umura is noisy, while Anji is quiet... Opposites attract? "Innocence makes no difference. What's good or bad is in the eye of the beholder," is an interesting line! Since the samurai are only paid to murder, they're in no position to place judgement on who should be killed. Wow...Shikon tried to seduce Saiga, to agree to let him sleep over... I'm not sure if that was necessary, since Saiga didn't budge, lol. Oh! I see. Saiga used to work in the commercial sex industry, and Shikon has had connections with over 15 assassin groups before... These two characters definitely have dark pasts. Poor Souji for misunderstanding... XD Shikon sleeping naked really did come out of nowhere. It's scary, to see that earlier...Shikon was happily calling the ladies cute, and then he just became expressionless when he slaughtered people. LOL to Anji telling Umura to count if they killed all of their targets. It seems Shikon has difficulty breathing – an asthma attack? Good first chapter! :) |
