Is "paw" supposed to be FA-B? Why "paw", "pon" I would have understood, but paw? :O.
Should have grouped the twins, I mean they're the same basically. If one annoys you the other will just as much.

Wow swimswim is unpopular.
I will go with Calamity Mary though. She was a freaking douchebag + mass murdering innocents + violence and neglect against her own child.
Swimswim has at least the excuse of being too young to understand how bad what she did was, + she actually cried after killing her friends. Calamity MAry wouldn't give a fuck and laugh instead.

Snow white becomes a cool character afterwards tho. Whereas Sister nana will never become anything, as you know. That's what happens when you hang out with the wrong peoples, I guess.

@Zefyris

You are indeed correct, Snow White's character progression was carefully made since the beginning. However, it was too dramatic for me, let's just say, for the generalization sake, that Snow White shouldn't have wasted more tears than she should have.

Sister Nana was quite cool in the beginning, she's like this "everything will be fine" character, quite optimistic and finds a way to "help" those who needs help, sadly the way she "helps" was more like "preaching" than actual help... :/

But her end was quite a pleasure to watch... xD

For SW are you referring to the end of the anime, because I wasn't. The anime is just the prologue, so SW is a cool character during the whole story except the prologue, which means 90% of the story time. That's what I was referring to. SW after the first book is a hardboiled badass.
Meanwhile Sister Nana never gets a chance to become anything. That's not because she was unlucky and so on, but because she gave up on trying to live facing hardships alone, whereas SW choose to live on and fight on. That's the difference between the two really. One was able to live on after losing her moral support and evolve into a badass and likeable character. The other committed suicide.

@Zefyris

Are you saying that the anime strayed away from the original source?

Ohhh... Now I see your point. Yeah, the one that drove Sister Nana to her death was when the dude died... I forgot his name though... :/

That wasn't a dude, that was Sister Nana's girlfriend (winterprison) since that was a lesbian couple ^^".
No, not really saying it strayed away (it rearranged a lot of scenes but that's it). What I'm saying is the anime adaptation stops at the end of the prologue of that story. And that's why you're not seeing SW changing earlier : a protagonist doesn't change during a prologue, he/she changes from the consequences of what happened during it. SW starts changing at the very end of the anime because that's the very end of the prologue. The end of the anime is the end of the first volume of the novel= end of prologue. SW is basically badass and strong willed in any volumes she's in afterwards.

Very interesting... If the anime stops at the 1st volume of the novel, does that mean, there's more to Swim Swim?

To tell the truth, I thought the anime adapted most of the novel, since that was I felt.

There's not more since she died during volume 1. And she was, like most characters during that volume, mostly irrelevant to the grand story.
The only important characters for the story you already encountered are SW, Ripple, and Cramberry (who is dead, but her impact on the story as a whole is huge, and so are her death consequences). The other main characters outside of Ripple and SW haven't been introduced yet, they arrive mostly at volume 2/volume 1 extra chapter (which wasn't adapted either).

Snow White and Sister Nana's idealistic, stupid, and naive attitudes were annoying as hell, but there's no way I could pick anyone over Swim Swim after all the shit she did.

Sure, I hated Swim Swim, but her and her group were brilliant; I'll give them that.

I'm not surprised no one has picked La Pucelle, (yet). Sou-chan the best imo. He was what I'd like to call a "light gray knight". He was kind and strong, but he wasn't afraid to get his hands dirty like Snow White. My favorite quote from La Pucelle was something like, "I can't allow someone like that to run wild.", referring to Cranberry.

Too many times in anime, like when it came to Ripple wanting to kill Swim Swim later, it was a matter of either revenge, or staying a pure magical girl. Most of the time, the fact that crazy trash needs to be cleaned up for the greater good and public safety is neglected to be mentioned.

I liked Cranberry the least. She felt like a boring, cliche villain compared to the likes of Swim Swim.

I hated both Cranberry and Swim Swim. It could be said they are victims of the circumstances but that doesn't excuse them because of all the murders they did. Both were egoistic and unlikeable, so I was glad when they died. Still, I voted for Cranberry because she's the bigger villain from the two.
Calamity Mary comes very close third, because of being a totally unhinged bitch and killing all these innocent civilians.
