| So if you search the internet, most sites say there are 22 episodes total but it seems MAL has decided to separate a few episodes from Pokemon Chronicles and make them as their own entries. [Don't know for sure but I guess MAL goes by the Japanese release and since the international release packed all these specials and sidestories differently, that's why there is this confusion..] The episodes in airing order missing from the total 22 episodes that have been made as their own entries are: 1. The Legend of Thunder which was broadcasted in 3 parts on the international release but was aired as a single movie in Japan. This is counted as the first 3 episodes of Pokemon Chronicles according to most sites 2. First 2 episodes of Pikachu's Winter Vacation (2001). These episodes are counted as the 4th episode of Pokemon Chronicles according to most sited 3. The last episode of Pikachu's Winter Vacation (2001). This episode is counted as the 20th episode of Pokemon Chronicles according to most sites 4. Pikachu's Winter Vacation. These episodes are counted as the final episode, the 22th episode of Pokemon Chronicles according to most sites by most sites I mean wikipedia and bulbapedia because they are the most well-known and trusted sites when it comes to info about pokemon. I was pretty confused myself when I tried to figure out which episode was which because I used Bulbapedia mostly to follow and track the episodes as well as this site because it lists everything in the chronological airing order. Hope this helps those who were confused like me about "Pokemon Chronicles". |

| Wouldn't that mean there should still be 18 episodes, and not 16 though? (since you listed 22, minus those specials). I have been seeing 18 on other sites as well :x So now im wondering if MAL removed others into their own categories, or such? |

As for other sites listing 18 episodes I'm guessing they either missed some or otherwise combined them. This was indeed a very confusing mess to discern, trying to go back and watch a bunch of the anime. Like, easy enough to understand once you're in the know, but man the fact that multiple episodes don't count because they have their own entries is pretty wild. I can't say I've come across that before. |
