THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE.

It's somewhat disappointing to see how a talented and skilled performer who can perform even the Mystical Act can't overcame the basic things.

In my opinion after seeing Leon dropping May, Sora is afraid that he drop her too and he still asks to take away the safety net! Although Sora did not know the technical name, which is really weird and there I agree with the comment, she knows how to do it but do not trust the partner Leon. That's the point of this episode. Sora has been a little lost lately. Since Layla left the stage sora became a little aimless

It's as Fool said. "Sagittarius" - Sora, apparently - is still lost in the darkness. She's become so aimless probably because she was always just chasing after Layla. Layla's gone, but she's still chasing after her image... Until she stops trying to become Layla and starts trying to "Sora, the Top Star", I'm not sure she'll get anywhere...

I am irked that May gets to make a comeback. I was hoping she was down and out. I wanted to see Sora perform at the festival... :| Though, I guess, not the way she is now...

Trust isn't that simple, how could Sora trust a guy who dropped someone before just to see if they're capable, I know I wouldn't.

After watching this episode, wish they ended it when they finished the legendary maneuver.. Leon is such a random character who pops out of nowhere and has the best skills??? that was a fail and he was never mentioned before until the episode pops up -_- quite disappointed.

And I'm still wondering? what happened to Yuri...... is he dead? or something...

I get what they're saying about Sora and May running away from rising to the challenge, but it feels like they're twisting it to make Leon sound completely blameless. It's like he's punching them and then everyone is saying "it's your fault for not knowing karate to block his punch."

That's how I've felt about Sora ever since the new season. It feels like she's always going on about surpassing Layla now and isn't striving to make her own mark as a star.

Wow; is everyone really putting the blame on Sora and May, while absolving Leon? Is Leon that blind that he can't see the skill level of May? I don't believe he is, so he knew what the likely result would be; injuring her.

Then we have everyone chastising Sora for not being able to trust someone who wilfully injures their "partners" if they don't meet an arbitrary skill level (yet).

Did they change the protagonist of this series to May and I missed it? Maybe they're going for a similar dynamic to Sora/Layla last season but it's not working. God I hate May. It's too late to make her any kind of enjoyable or sympathetic. Leon is an arrogant asshole, but at least I'm not supposed to feel sorry for him and can enjoy him as the antagonist of the show

Oh look, they're treating Sora like shit again. Even Layla. Seriously, the writers of this series have some issues... I don't think all this suffering is necessary. And honestly, they made May way too much of an annoying character to try and make us to like her now.

What is Sora doing, motivating May? May doesn't deserve it after all she's done to Sora. She even aware that she's been unfriendly and jerk to everyone and been picking on Sora! She's horrible!! Anyways Meryl is surprisingly a very good supporting character, scolding May and especially Sora.

Wtf? Why are we blaming Sora and May for not trusting someone who maliciously injures their partners? At least call out how unprofessional it is to make your partner "ad-lib" and risk their health for no reason?

And are they implying Sora was wrong about the Kids Stage? I kinda thought the whole point of Leon was to show how wrong his view on the audience is and that children are an equally valuable audience? It seemed like Junichi Satou saying "Hey, you can tell great stories for all ages!". Was I wrong to think that that is a theme of this show?

So they are committing to Leon being an insufferable character that only an equally insuffarable character (May) could be his partner so Sora can stop trying to appease him, for a moment I thought Sora was going to really try to figure it out how to be his partner but the other demon was May all along, good.
I did liked that Meryl basically told Sora to stand her ground against Leon but her advice to May is something that only works in the world of Kaleido Star because lol at least May is self-aware of what a pain in the ass she has been to Sora so far.
I wished Layla was a bit more straightforward with Sora about how she really needs to stop chasing after her :p
