----------------------------------------
In which Lupin steals from Tiffany's on Christmas! I...think they mighta put the cart before the horse so to speak here. Lotta story structure based issues. The reasoning for neither the NYPD nor Zenigata(the first time inside Tiffany's) attempting to seriously arrest Lupin, a notoriously wanted man, is weak at best. Pretty much boils down to then we'd have no story. Not that Lupin really demands that level of detail, but eh...still kinda bugged me here. Also couldn't help but think of how technology today would have made the whole point of this plot obsolete what with the internet era, which again could be said of the whole show or anything from the late 70s. Lupin's actual method of robbery involving using the subway to literally pull out the bottom half of Tiffany's and use laser fishing rod guns to take the jewels was also a little too outlandish. Which, again, is par for the course in Lupin Part II where stuff like suicide guns and vampires exist, but for whatever reason didn't work for me here. What did I like? Well Tiffany getting the better of Fujiko was fun. Though I do think we've had a few too many episodes where Fujiko causes all the trouble lately. Her inability to write checks with the proper amount, both ways, was cute too. And the snowy Statue of Liberty covered in jewels made for a nice visual.

That was pretty creative, bring the whole building then rob inside
I guess we're glad Lupin wasn't "pulling out" from this plan xD

Lady Liberty must be really happy with all of those jewels xD

Fujiko was burned, "be careful to not be mistaken for a maid." No wonder she went on a shopping spree. lol Well, it was a game, I guess that's why they left the jewels behind, they had that blank check after all, and Maggie lost. No thief had ever stolen from her store before, but I guess there's always a first time, especially if you run after it. lol I love christmas episodes though, it was nice to see the four of them celebrating their success in the end.

I found it funny how, when on the fishing boat, Lupin gets up by doing a forward flip, just to show off.

Idk what to think about it.I didn't get christmas mood from it.And I don't understand the idea how they put the jewels on the liberty statue.I wanted to see they pay for the things Fujiko bought.Between I don't get the idea of spending christmas in New York.Maybe rhe creators have a USA fetish to bring the gang there a lot of times 😅
