What are your expectations from OVA 4?

Hyped, but cautious at the same time. Being cautious as not to set myself up for possible disappointment as it may not go the way i want it to.

But anyways. What I expect (What i want to see).
- Our guy Tenchi Masaki as the actual protagonist & focal point of the season and not someone else.
- Maybe seeing Tenchi get more involved with his Juraian royal side of the family. (What i wish would've happened in GXP instead of having Seina as the protagonist).
- All the girls getting their time to shine.
- With that being said, a clear Harem route/ending. (This series what got me into harems)

Ideally, would have much preferred that the Shin Tenchi Muyo novels got adapted since they provide quite a bit of fleshing out on Washu and several members of the Jurai Royal Family that the older anime never fleshed out.

But as for this anime, I suppose more about Tenchi's power will be fleshed out and we get the harem ending that was alluded to from Masaki Kajishima's doujin material.

Pretty much this. Upon rewatch I realized just how damn disappointing 2 & 3 had been.

I watched this and tenchi universe in TV when I was a kid

Now I have the feeling that I will age watching tenchi being forever a teenager LOL

I just hope they use the normal voice actors and not the ones from GXP, because they really messed Ryokos voice up.

Also, they already kind of screwed up on Ryoko's design. In the first OVA she had larger, more cat like eyes, which they actually nailed on Washu's new design. She looks a tad too old for what she's 'supposed' to be (Looks 17 when she's more like 5000+ or whatever). They really fucked up on her looks in OVA 2 and especially in OVA 3, so I hope they give her what she deserves and make her look great. I hope she's not tamed either, we need Ryoko to be cool as hell, just like OVA 1.

Let's hope all the characters are good. I wish it was more than just 4 measly eps!
