| Sentaro doesn't improve at all. |

| They must really like this weird tea family to make so many boring episodes with them. |
| I thought they wrapped up the story of these tea enjoyers already. Why the hell does Sentaro keep dragging Ranma and Akane into his problems? This happened way too many times. This time they dragged Nabiki and Kasumi too. But like in all regular episodes these two didn't do anything significant. I knew the whole setup was gonna be a test for Sentaro and Satsuki. But I was thinking that maybe Toko Otome was Satsuki, that would've made a predictable but decent plottwist. Instead, the whole episode was made pointless because Sentaro didn't improve at anything. Was that supposed to be the punchline of this episode? What a bad joke. I doubt he'll show up again so if it's the last episode it was a bad way to end Sentaro and Satsuki's arc. The English dub also didn't even bother translating the pun at the end. |
| Every time Sentaro and his grandma have returned it has surprised me, and this final time (surely right lol) is no exception, all of their episodes have just been average to pretty good, and unfortunately this one is in the same boat imo. I know in the previous one I mentioned that I’d like to see another episode with Sentaro and his new babe Satsuki, I really did, but this was not it lol, this was an absolute nothing burger of an episode. So all this stuff with this golden teapot was just a test for Satsuki and Sentaro because of course it was, it wouldn’t be a martial arts tea ceremony episode if these old ladies weren’t committing some fuckery. And with that reveal, we also learned that Ranma and the Tendos had no reason to be there, they even made a joke about it, well that doesn’t make it okay lol, it really is unfortunate that what little bit more we did get of Sentaro and Satsuki was this, they could have done much better imo, not sure if this was a manga chapter or not but still. There was one part that I liked near the end when Satsuki finally spoke and did that cool move, but that was pretty much it, I liked Nabiki and Kasumi’s company as well but as always they didn’t do much. Oh well, hopefully Sentaro wil eventually grow some balls for Satsuki beyond this and stop glomping Akane despite having a fiancé now, thankfully I don’t think we’ll get to see it tho lol. |
