| Plans for Spring: Ace Attorney: Been dreaming of this series getting an anime adaptation for a long time. Not impressed by the PVs or character design (especially Maya) but still really excited for this. It's going to be really strange having the Japanese names. Boku no Hero Academia: Caught up to the manga and I'm definitely looking forward to this. Bones should adapt it well but I just hope there won't be an anime only ending. Bungou Stray Dogs: Premise sounds decent enough and also because it's Bones. Joker Game: Not really sure what to expect from this but I'll give it a go. Kiznaiver: Hopefully this doesn't end up being Inferno Cop 3.0 Koutetsujou no Kabaneri: Strongly reminds me of Attack on Titan but I'll give it a shot. Hopefully it won't end up being the exact same as Attack on Titan. Magi: Sinbad no Bouken: I enjoy Magi as a series and I really like Sinbad as a character so I'm looking forward to this. Sakamoto desu ga?: Watching this to see Sakamoto and his swag Sousei no Onmyouji: Looks like a generic shounen and it's by studio perriot so I'm not super excited about this. Hopefully it's at least enjoyable. |

| Other than Ass Class carrying over from Winter, these are the shows I'll be watching: Mayoiga (1st April) Joker Game (5th April) Sousei no Onmyouji (6th April) Bungou Stray Dogs (7th April) Netoge no Yome wa Onnanoko ja Nai to Omotta? (7th April) Koutetsujou no Kabaneri (8th April) Sakamoto desu ga? (8th April) Kiznaiver (9th April) Tanaka-kun wa Itsumo Kedaruge (9th April) Flying Witch (10th April) Big Order (TV) (16th April) Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu (whenever it airs) The very earliest days of the season (1st to 5th of April) seem pretty barren, and the wait for Big Order might get annoying. Other than that, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays are looking to be the busiest days, but at least Saturday seems to be manageable with only three shows (though Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu might change that). Most hyped for Kabaneri, Big Order and Mayoiga, but nothing else seems likely to be exceptional. I'm hoping there's a Konosuba-esque surprise in there somewhere though. |

| I'm trying really hard to keep the list short, because I got rekt by last year's fall season and haven't really cared for much during this winter season, but the ones I'm starting out with are: ∘ Mayoiga - Mizushima Tsutomu did great work with Shirobako, so I'll bite on this one plus the character designs also give off Shirobako vibes! ∘ Boku no Hero Academia - I won't lie, I've been anticipating this for a while I'm Bones biased as fuck, and I'd already read a volume or so of the manga, so I'm hype for sure. the art is so up my alley, and the animation is bound to be good, plus Hayashi Yuuki is working on the music! ∘ Bakuon!! - this looks like it could be pretty cute, I'll be incredibly happy if there's no ecchi either fingers crossed! ∘ Joker Game - this looks really interesting, I love the aesthetic and... that seiyuu line-up... if Production I.G is handling this, then I'm in for sure. ∘ Super Lovers - I wasn't gonna go anywhere near this because the name is lame and I'm wary of age gap romance, especially when a kid is involved but I watched the PV, and I think I could get into this. the art is really nice, Ren's character design is really cute, if done right (and not creepy) I'd probably enjoy this. ∘ Bungou Stray Dogs - like I said, I'm Bones biased and I've had this in my sights for a while too. I love the character design of the protagonist, and while watching the PV I got offhandedly nostalgic. I'm interested to see Bones handling two manga adaptions this season as well, I'll be stoked if they can pull it off well. ∘ Koutetsujou no Kabaneri - um, Wit Studio? yes please, look at that shiny art and animation. I got goosebumps during the start of the PV, and I'm always down for female protagonists! ∘ Sakamoto desu ga? - I've seen everyone losing their shit over this adaption, so it's hard not to be caught in the excitement. this looks like some good comedy and I'm strapping in for the long ride with this one. ∘ Kiznaiver - Trigger, but also the key visual caught my eye a while back, I like the look of the characters plus sci-fi is always welcome in my books, please and thankyou. ∘ Gyakuten Saiban: Sono "Shinjitsu", Igi Ari! - I've honestly never gotten a chance to play the games, but I'm interested in this anyway the PV doesn't give away much though, so I guess I'll have to wait ∘ Flying Witch - J.C.Staff... not ecchi... holy shit the PV was pretty boring but everything looks really good, it could end up quite cute ∘ Tanaka-kun wa Itsumo Kedaruge - this looks really chill, this can be my lazy anime for the season I relate to the MC immensely I probably won't pick up any others during the season unless someone I trust recommends it or I see some good reception, and I'll probably drop or procrastinate watching some of these as well, but I'm starting out with 12 anime this spring season! |

| I'm feeling pretty great on these 3 mainly because I've read the source materials and the PVs/staff for it are pretty good. - Boku no Hero Academia - It's one of the new big shounen with lots of potentials. It has lots of characters and I mean A LOT of characters which got their own focus and developments and of course, a really likable MC. The fact that it's a Weekly Shounen Jump series and made by Bones really made me feel good about it. - Bungou Stray Dogs - Another one of Bones anime. It has a good amount of action in it which is right up the alley for Bones. Seems like it has a good production values based on the PVs and it being split-cours. I'm pretty sure this will be their Kekkai Sensen for this year. - Sakamoto desu ga? - It's Swagamoto on the screen! This is a comedy which is pretty subjective so I won't say that everyone will like it. I have a feeling that Deen might just be able to pull this one off with the staff and casts for it. It's a comedy so their wonky animation won't really be a problem here. I won't really say much about the others but I will be watching these with some expectations based on the PVs/staff for it. I will be watching these for the rest of the season I guess. Will be checking these out and maybe I'll add them to my list. |
