DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- note: i am not even watch this series yet. i just surprised this actually pop up in serach result when i want to backlogging ginga densetsu weed since it manga finnaly picked up just yesterday. so i don't know it comparison between this, older version, anime, and novel. it's only make me curious so i read it. > the character design surprisingly modern bishounenish with very clear art style. dat eyebrow and eyehair thou. battleship design is awesome. the background also amazing. > glaring each other? dat smile? hmmm.... > early spoilers. already spoiled anyways, > kircheis surprisingly cute and inncoent, lOl. > wow, dat slap. reinhard soo cool and hardcore. poor balls, thou. > dat family conflict. poor him. make me want to watch anime, but no subs in my native and my english not advance enough to watch them in english. zzzzzzzzzzzz. |

| Pretty good chapter, and some great art. It's interesting that it's stated that advanced technology has been withheld from the common folk, and it definitely assists the technology-barren aesthetic of Odin's cities that I always felt was off in the anime. Now hopefully they have messages be conveyed through modern communication technology and not letters, lol. Definitely looking forward to more, however long the wait may be. |

| Classic but compelling start of what looks like the typical story of a boy who will raise from his lower conditions to the top. The world seems rather simple and interesting at first glance. 5/5 Great return in form for Fujisaki. I am happy that the mangaka made it back to sci-fi. Though it is only based on novels (seems like his editors like to pin novel adaptations on him) I am quite surprised to see such a consensus over Fujisaki's drawing skills. The only critic I kept hearing back when I was reading Hôshin Engi was that he couldn't draw normal foot (and that was actually falsely deduced from the shoes size he likes to draw). @wither Have a good time ! Of course, there are shortcuts here and there, and many people dislike the late 90s (and computerized) look of Fujisaki's designs but you should ejoy some bits of it too. (Scantrad or has it been published in your country too?) |

| I love how intensely furious Reinhard looks on his introduction LMAO I've enjoyed every single iteration of LotGH so far... from the original novels, to the old OVA, to the new anime. Looking forward to enjoying this manga as well :) Reinhard and Kircheis's childhood friendship warms my soul in every medium. |
