Monogatari Series: Final Season
| There was a certain scene which made me think that Koyomi cares about Shinobu much more than about Hitagi. It was in 7th episode, when the old building was on fire and Koyokoyo said "there's only one person I want to die together with. The blonde oddity". I always thought he was attached to her by their special bond, but all the lovey-dovey left to Gahara-san. And the quote ruins the romantic lovers' death. What do u think? |

I think this was quite obvious a while ago. He has a very special bond with Shinobu, but it can never develop into a truly romantic relationship, given that she's a vampire and he's a human, meaning he'd still need an actual human partner to form an even deeper relationship with, hence why he has Hitagi to make actual love to. Besides, Hitagi herself shows a lot of signs that she's all too aware of this. After all, if he could do with Shinobu what he could, or would want to do with Hitagi, why would the latter have any reason to stick with Koyomi, when she could easily find another guy (or girl, if she so prefers) with whom she could form a truly romantic relationship with, when we know that Hitagi is possessive and gets jealous easily? The only reason I can think of why she hasn't left him is because she doesn't see Shinobu as a rival in terms of romance. |

| I get that Hitagi is with Koyomi because she understands the situation between him and Shinobu. I get that he needs an actual human partner. However, what I don't get here is why he doesn't think about her love when he's about to die. Is a relationship with Hitagi just to pass time for him? Every normal person would think about his/her love when death's knocking. Why doesn't he? Does he treat her like he doesn't really feel anything towards her? I highly doubt it, because he shows his affection from time to time. Or maybe producers thought it was a part about Shinobu so Koyomi should mention the blonde oddity, and forget about Gahara? Imo it isn't natural |

The thing with soldiers really showed me my horrible mistake, thanks a lot! |
| I don't like to spoil but the relationship between Hitagi and Araragi is a FRAUD. It fits well with Hitagi's character being a FAKE(CON) & a LIAR. It is not her fault, It is just how the author sets her character. Hitagi&Araragi has something good at bake but after that, Shinobu''s hold on Araragi escalated more and more. By that time Tsubasa confesed, Shinobu already got a full hold on Ararargi being the GIRL he loves more than her. ---- MASSIVE SPOILER ---- |

Hitagi & Araragi remain together cause they love each other, Araragi loves both Hitagi & Shinobu so their relationship isn't FRAUD |
