 The November issue of Kadokawa's Newtype magazine, which will be published on October 10, reveals that an original TV anime titled Active Raid: Kidou Kyoushuushitsu Dai Hachi Gakari will air in Winter 2016. The series will air on Tokyo MX and other channels.Synopsis Set in a part of Tokyo that has descended into a quagmire, the story follows Unit 8 of the 5th Special Public Security Section's 3rd Mobile Assault Division, popularly called "The Eighth," who don powered armor "Willwear" exoskeletons to counter the rise in crime. | I bet it's somehow A-1 Pictures. Logic would point to Sunrise though, but that doesn't mean much anymore when it comes to the anime industry with people freelancing around all the time and A-1 being just the sort of studio to try to put together a super group. |

| Girl on the cover in her skin tight suit looks really dumb with her long pink hair that nearly touches the ground. That's already irritating. Surprised nobody has brought up Infinite Stratos yet. The whole exoskeleton stuff is usually only used to highlight sexy outfits and the girl looks like she could very well be part of that harem series. |

| Why are like 75% of original anime mecha related? I am not a fan of mecha + military genre. (seem like military kind of got a popularity boost lately.personally not a fan) But I guess this is good news fans of the genre/staff. And also just good in general that there is still original anime being made. |
