The artwork that Akito made definitely had talent behind it. Loved these two chapters. It was really refreshing again to read bits of Bakuman :D |

| I liked that it showed more of Mashiro's early artwork. So now it doesn't seem like Tagaki teamed up with him based on a single drawing of Azuki. |

| Lol, the third year of middle school was essentially a bunch of stalking by Takagi of Mashiro and Azuki while Mashiro stealth drew Azuki a ton. XD Definitely enjoyed this short prequel. Takagi's perspective for this made it even more intriguing. |

| Mashiro, you're kind of a creep. XD Yuujirou is such an idiot. He didn't think of the consequences at all and he was really lucky that Niizuma is a genius with insane stamina. Takagi didn't plan anything when he confronted Mashiro. Instead he tried to look cool for no reason. What a chuusan-chuunibyou. Yet his talk with Miyoshi about Azuki's seiyuu dream wasn't shown. Not that it was necessery, but it would fit nicely here. Funny enough that they already get the studio on the next day. |
| This chapter made me recall how arrogant Niizuma used to be at times. I'm glad he has become a lot more humble now, though. |
| Such a nice prequel! Both chapters were fun and cute, it was nice to read something from Akito's point of view again. And man, the artstyle impreoved SO SO MUCH when you compare it to the first chapter of the original series, it's insane. |
