Director of Photography: Satoshi Namiki (Hanasaku Iroha) Editing: Ayumu Takahashi (Akagami no Shirayuki-hime) Sound Director: Satoki Iida (Ansatsu Kyoushitsu (TV)) Sound Effects: Katsuhiro Nakano Sound Production: Glovision (Dog Days'') Music: Shiro Hamaguchi (One Piece) Music Production: Lantis (Katanagatari) Homura Chika  A first year high school student who plays the flute. She is a member of the wind instrument club who hopes to compete in the wind music competitions. Haruta Kamijou  Chika's childhood friend. He is a first year student attending high school and is talented at playing the horn. Haruchika: Haruta to Chika wa Seishun Suru is based on the mystery novel series Haruchika by Sei Hatsuno. Kadokawa began publishing the Haruchika series in 2008, and there are currently four volumes in print. Sei Hatsuno won the Yokomizo Seishi Mystery Award in 2002 for his short story, Mizu no Tokei. | I enjoyed the way Tari Tari was directed so if Hashimoto can adapt this series with a similar feel, then it could be done quite well. Looking forward to this and at least the animation quality will be nice given that it's from P.A. Works. |

| Having Masakazu Hashimoto as a director is such a let down. I haven’t personally liked any of his previous works as a director (Tari Tari, Soul Eater Not!). Hopefully he’ll do justice to Sei Hatsuno’s novels. It’s a good thing they have Yoshida Reiko doing the series composition instead of him, though. So there is hope there. Main character designs look fair. I would have preferred if the designs were closer to the ones shown in the novels, but that’s just me. |
